AMC Will Air Complete Breaking Bad + The Walking Dead Marathons

AMC has announced that it will air marathon presentations of two of its biggest hits, Breaking Bad and The Walking Dead beginning at the end of this month.

The four-day Breaking Bad marathon runs from Friday, December 27 through Monday, December 30, beginning at noon ET/PT each day. It will include every episode from all five seasons.

The two-day Walking Dead marathon starts at 9am ET/PT on December 31. Episodes will air back-to-back until 5am on January 2, 2014. New episodes of The Walking Dead return on February 9 at 9pm followed by Talking Dead at 10.

AMC’s press release notes that the Walking Dead marathon will air episodes in chronological order but doesn’t make a similar statement about the Breaking Bad marathon. Does that mean Breaking Bad episodes will air out of order? Will Walking Dead episodes be rearranged so that flashback episodes are shown where they would have occurred in the fictional chronology? Or does it just mean I’m getting way too excited about six days of awesome television?

I will be watching some of it.

I don't know if I will but I think it will be good for people to catch up if they are behind.

I wish other shows would do this.

I wish they would too.
