Tonight, at a Genesis-branded edition of Impact Wrestling, Madison Rayne became a five-time Knockouts Champion.

She defeated former teammate Gail Kim in a hard-fought match that saw the ejection of Lei’D Tapa from ringside. Madison eventually pinned Gail after hitting her with the Rayne Drop.

This makes for a very successful several weeks for Madison, who returned to TNA in December after giving birth back in September.

The match was only like 4 mins, and wasn't their best work. It was sort of anticlimactic for Madison's first shot since her return.

Genesis as a whole, was just... bad.

I totally agree it was very anti-climatic.

I mean wtf why have her win the belt so fast after her return?

I was expecting her to win but by DQ or count-out.

Now what are they going to do?

Gail will get her rematch clause and then Madison faces the NOT ready Tapa?

Brooke isn't a heel anymore to my knowledge so Madison really has only two opponents since Velvet doesn't even wrestle much and I doubt they would have Velvet or ODB face Madison.
