Exclusive: A Possible Royal Rumble **SPOILER**

As noted late Wednesday night here on the website, there was a lot of back and forth on the Cody Rhodes & Goldust vs New Age Outlaws tag team title match scheduled for the Royal Rumble Kickoff show on Sunday. Originally WWE wanted to do the tag title match on Smackdown last week, but instead decided to run the non-title match to give the Outlaws a win so they could book the title match on the pay-per-view.

Goldust has been tweeting that he'll be "unveiling something special" during the Royal Rumble kickoff show on Sunday.

For what it's worth, there has been talk of having The New Age Outlaws win the tag-team titles on the pre-show and then have Goldust eliminate Cody Rhodes during the Royal Rumble match. This would set up a Goldust vs. Cody Rhodes feud leading into the Elimination Chamber or WrestleMania 30 pay-per-view.

Some of you may remember that Goldust returned at last year's Royal Rumble pay-per-view and was eliminated by his brother Cody Rhodes. As the saying goes, "payback is a b*tch?" We shall see!

These type of turns are what end up leading to the demise of folk like Goldie. He turns, loses the feud to Cody, then creative has nothing for him... Endeavored.

Well, he is on his way out anyway; and he is hanging on to get the moment at Mania with Cody the same way irl brothers were able to before them. Bret & Owen. Jeff & Matt.
