When I was younger I used to collect Pokemon, then Pokemon cards, then just cards.

Then as I got older, I started collecting degrees. Now I'm on an endless quest to collect paychecks.

Replica wrestling belts, wrestling DVDs, and wrestling cards.

I used to collect wrestling figures, magazines, pokemon/yu-gi-oh cards etc but I've since stopped and or only bought certain stuff (certain figure or magazine).

Silva, what's the market like for wrestling cards and belts? I know the belts are pricey but do they maintain their value or perhaps go up? Wrestling cards definitely seems like a shaky market because of the target audience, but I've seen some of those cards go pretty high on ebay.

I did the ygo! thing for a while. The money was better than expected, and I got a nice ROI. Nowadays it's too risky and cards fluctuate in value too much. TCG are too inconsistent for my liking.

Belts are typically $150-250 although brand new belts and the newer ones (White IC, new WWE Title) are really expensive ($300-450)..

I don't really buy my stuff to sell later on. I mean I guess if I had to I'd be able to get money for my belts and certain cards but I have little plans to sell most of my collections.

Idk, as far as wrestling cards go I just like opening the packs and then organizing them in binders. Each pack is like a little present and one can get some good things (or not) and it's generally just fun. :p

I'm too paranoid to collect for fun. I just hate the idea of losing $. I get what you are saying though, and I realize not everything is about financial value. What are your most prized cards at the moment?

I have a couple autograph cards of various people but I don't think any of worth too much.

Probably $40 or so. :-/

I try and get auto/relic cards of people I like such as: Lita, Trish, Gail, Kharma, JoMo, Ziggler, Cody Rhodes, etc but auto cards are expensive most of the time so I mainly get relics.
