Update on Rey Mysterio’s WWE Future – Could he Leave For AAA?

- Over the last few days there has been a lot of talk about Rey Mysterio's future with WWE. At this time, the feeling is that a top spot in the company is no longer available to Mysterio, and that with only 3 months left on his current deal, he could be preparing to finish up his WWE run.

With that being the feeling, there has been a lot of speculation that Mysterio might join the new AAA TV show debuting on the El Rey Network later this year. Konnan is a big part of that project, and remains close with Mysterio, who could end up as a big player there if he leaves WWE.

I see this working great for both sides

When I was a Kid Rey Mysterio was one of my favorite wrestlers back in his prime used to play as him all the time in the classic WWE games.Over the years I just grew out of Rey and Moved On.I got a ton of respect for him and he was a great talent but him leaving Is for the best Sin Cara is the new Rey Mysterio.

Sin Cara is not the new Mysterio lol. Until he gets his delivery of his moves about 400x better then we can talk.

The original Sin Cara could of been promoted as the next Mysterio if they gave him the right people to work with. They didnt, sadly.

I agree I think wwe limitations really hurt Sin Cara.
