According to TMZ, The Ultimate Warrior passed away due to a massive heart attack. The death was stated to be from natural causes, with no alcohol or drugs directly involved. The medical examiner officially stated that the cause of death was due to "Atherosclerotic/Arteriosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease," for those of us without a medical degree, that is heart disease.
As previously reported, WWE will pay tribute to Warrior on tonight's Raw, as well as on the WWE Network with a series of specials about his life and career.
