As of this past week, Ric Flair has still not been cleared to return to WWE TV as a regular character. Flair has not been to Pittsburgh for WWE's medical tests. These are required for all talent before they begin working a regular role for WWE.
A source believes that Flair could still be dealing with the blood clot issue in his leg. WWE is very strict with not allowing their performers to use blood thinners.
Flair was backstage at Tuesday's WWE Smackdown tapings, but there is no official word as when he could be back on a weekly basis.
