Sunset Overdrive hits Xbox One on October 28, Insomniac has announced.
At Microsoft's E3 2014 conference today, the developer confirmed the release date alongside rumours for an 8-player online co-op mode called "Chaos Mode".
Sunset Overdrive marks Insomniac's first Xbox exclusive. After years of PlayStation exclusivity, Insomniac released Fuse at a multiplatform game, and then opted to make Sunset Overdrive an Xbox exclusive in exchange for retaining rights and control over the intellectual property. In a recent preview, IGN concluded that Insomniac could have a bona fide hit on its hands, after the somewhat disappointing Fuse.
