Roxxi released?

WrestlingNewsWorld.com has learned Roxxi is gone from TNA Wrestling. While full details regarding her release are not immediately available, it is believed the company let her contract run out. Roxxi was pulled from TV several weeks ago which was a move that did not come without criticism.

Roxxi, real name Nicole Raczynski, began wrestling in the New England area under the ring name Nikki Roxx and was brought into TNA in July 2007 as a second for BG and Kip James as "The Voodoo Queen" Roxxi Laveaux.

As the Knockouts division grew, she became something of an underdog in the division with fans getting behind her as she was having regular good matches with Gail Kim, The Beautiful People and Awesome Kong, among others.

The Laveaux surname was dropped after the 2008 Sacrifice PPV, where she lost a multi-woman bout where the final loser would have her head shaved. The loss of her hair actually increased her popularity with fans in the Orlando area due to the sympathy factor.

In more recent months, she was pushed as the hardcore Knockout, using weapons and cursing regularly. While she had not been in the top mix for the Knockouts title of late, she was easily in the top three babyfaces for that side of the division and still had strong fan support when the decision was made to let her go.

TNA quietly removed Roxxi's profile from their website this morning.

Wow They actually did it? I’m thinking they used this “fight” with Rhaka as a excuse to release her, I pray this backfires on them, I hope the crowd chants “Roxxi” Roxxi” every single week. TNA made a huge mistake, why not release So Cal Val or Rhaka Khan? I fear for Jackie next.

the only one there that deserves to be released is Rhaka...fair point is that SCV hasnt done anything since sonjay left.
but if Roxxi got released whilst on suspensicon with an alterication that Rhaka probably started why isnt Rhaka being released as well

I loved Roxxi, I wish her well. I hope she continues to wrestle. It sucks she never had a chance at the KO Title in TNA.

So Cal Val is just as pointless… Rhaka Khan has a crappy attitude so why not release her ass too? Roxxi lost her hair for this company, she literally bled for them and this is her reward? F**k you TNA!

TNA's decision to release Roxxi last week was made after she requested the release, according to several sources in the company I spoke to this morning.
As previously noted, Roxxi was in the midst of serving a 60 day suspension for a backstage incident with Rhaka Khan that got physical. There was a feeling within some circles that Roxxi was getting the raw end of the deal due to Khan's relationship with Kurt Angle.
