here it is:
News broke on Sunday afternoon that Batista has been
working with an arm injury and would need surgery this week. The injury (and upcoming time off) did not stop WWE from putting the WWE title on Batista, but the injury was one of the reasons his
match with Randy Orton last night was shorter than a typical WWE title match.
According to PWInsider.com, Batista was diagnosed earlier today with a torn tendon in the biceps. Some
good news coming out of today's doctor
visit is that the injury is no longer believed to be a full fledged muscle tear, which would have kept him out of action for much longer.
While it's unclear when the injury occurred, it's believed that Batista been in pain for the past 3 weeks. The
general feeling is that the injury was simply caused by wear and tear, not one specific incident.
