Anyone else miss the "fun" Randy Orton?

The character he developed into today may be good, but at times when I look back I miss the old Orton. I think his 2007-ish run was really good, and the feud with Cena was great, and he was more "fun" to watch back then. Nowadays, he's just so "evil", and it's getting tiring after a while, anyone agree at all?

Dont Like him. I think hes BORING and always have. His Promos are boring and his wrestling is boring.

I love evil Orton, I thin what kinda kills it through is the stupid ratings they have now, it's kinda hard to be evil and kid friendly.

Orton has has been either my 1st or 2nd favorite wrestler going back to sometime in 2003 during the days of Evolution.

edge and chris jericho are the best heels at the moment, randy has nothing on them

This may not be a "fun" Randy Orton, but it's definitely a Randy Orton that can draw. He makes fans hate him, and pay to see him get his ass kicked. Sure he is the heel with the largest fan base, but the majority of the fans don't like him. He's accomplished his job.

Now as for me missing the "fun" Randy Orton.. he was definitely better as the psychotic, twisted, and evil Orton. Now though, they really can't pull that off with the PG side of things. I myself am a Randy Orton fan, I find him entertaining, though, he could be doing MUCH better.

Some people say he is the top heel, but like Andart said.. he can't compare to Jericho and Edge, IMO.

For the record, there was never a "fun" Randy Orton. His wrestling style put most generic wrestling fans to sleep.

I disagree, I found him fun when he used to beat all the Legends ass lol. Remember when he spit in Foley's face? Great times, I do agree that he draws the crowd in. He gets booed and sometimes even cheered. He just needs someone else to work with besides HHH, Cena and Batista

I completely forgot about the "Legend Killer" side to him. Whatever happened to that? Anyways, that was entertaining. I did like that, and that was how you say.. "fun". His feud with Mick Foley put Orton on the map. Now remembering the "Legend Killer" gimmick, yes, Orton used to be "fun", now he's just not that same guy. That's not necessarily a bad thing though.

I have no idea what happened to that gimmick, it really helped Orton become a star, He joined Evoultion soon after right? Or before? LOL I forgot

sorry but he totally reminds me of a robot now. his promos are so monotone and his movement makes him look like a fucking robot, its rather annoying but he's still somewhat good.

LOL Jericho is not monotone (however the hell you spell that) I enjoy his promos. Easily the best mic worker in the business today, now im not dissing Randy, his mic work has improved over the years

monotone means he speaks at the same level, Blue....Jericho does monotone promos....

yeah, when Orton gets pissed he raises his voice etc. Jericho doesnt
