Starting Point"
Saturday, July 11 - 730PM
The CZW Arena
7 W. Ritner Street - South Philly, PA
H8 Club vs. The Best Around signed for "Starting Point"!
When you think of CZW's all-time most dominant tag teams, one team always comes to the forefront of the discussion... the H8 Club. The duo of Nick Gage and Nate Hatred have bloodied, battered, and dominated every team put in front of them, breaking bones, lighttubes, tables, and shortening careers every step of the way. In 2009, the H8 Club's reign of dominance has continued, but according to Gage and Hatred, this most recent run has lacked one major component... the CZW World Tag Team Championships. In comments filmed at the conclusion of Best of the Best, where TBA ambushed the H8 Club, and nearly set Gage on fire, threatening not only his already fragile health, but also his life, the H8 Club call out TJ Cannon and Bruce Maxwell, and issue the challenge to an Ultraviolent Match for July 11th's "Starting Point".
The Best Around's impressive career and current title reign has been based significantly less on Ultraviolence, and moreso on pure athleticism, tag team chemistry, strategy, and, well, plenty of bending of the rules. The arrogant duo are undoubtedly among the most talented tag teams in all of wrestling, but their attitude has left a sour taste in the mouth of the CZW fanbase. At June's "Best of the Best", TJ and Bruce stooped to new lows, attacking an already badly injured Nick Gage, and threatening to end his career forever. Their ambush added fuel to a fire that didn't need any more flames, and left the H8 Club thirsting for blood. In this video response from The Best Around, Cannon and Maxwell respond to the H8 Club's challenge...
On Sunday night, Commissioner Maven Bentley passed word along to CZWrestling.com that a match between "The Best Around" and the H8 Club has in fact been signed for July 11th's "Starting Point", but unfortunately, it won't be under the Ultraviolent rules that the H8 Club has asked for. Instead, it will be under the TBA's desired stipulations... a "regular wrestling match", with "no gimmicks, and absolutely no Ultraviolence"... Will these "enforced" rules allow TBA to get the upper hand on the seething H8 Club? We will find out on July 11th when CZW presents "Starting Point".
CZW returns to South Philly on July 11th for "Starting Point". Stay tuned to CZWrestling.com in the coming days for the announcement of the first set of matches, as well as exclusive videos from the CZW roster in the fallout of Best of the Best.

The quality of CZW has dropped dramatically in recent years, its seems that they havent been able to recreate the magic that was Chris Hero and Eddie Kingston in their time there. They still have a lot of good wrestlers like Sami Callihan, Ruckus, Sabian, and others.
