Which title is more prestigious?

Knockouts or Womens title?

IMO i believe the Knockouts title is because it is less of a joke then the Womens title. I know the womens title been out since 4ever but how prestigious can something be if they let a man win a womens title? Atleast with the knockouts title we have regular defenses at Impact and PPV's and i personally do prefer an actually female wrestler winning the title, not a model turned wrestler.

High status? That's something that the Women's Title DEFINITELY has more oft than the Knockout's title. I know it's your opinion on which one is more prestigious, but you can't really have an opinion when it comes to the prestige of something. It's based more on facts than opinion.

well the fact is that they had someone who not only is not a wrestler but not even a women win it.

women's title...it has history and has been held by some awesome ladies in the past.

Women's Title, because it has been around longer, and the Knockouts title is new, and needs to be around a lot longer to be considered prestigious. Even though the choices for champion have sucked lately, it boils down to the past champions.

It's exactly what Vix, CWL, and I said.

TBH vix is the only one that gave a valid point, some pretty awesome ladies have won it in the past. but in the past 10 years all of its value to me atleast has gone down.

As much as I hate her, Trish Stratus was one of the best choices for champion in WWE the last 3-4 times she held it. and in the past 10 years talented women have held it...Beth, Mickie, Lita....even Melina (who needs to drop it! lol)

That may make it a bit more prestigious, but not anywhere near the prestige of the Women's Title yet.

There is really no disputing it. Womens title has been held by talents like Moolah, Wendi Richter, Leilani Kai, and loads of others. TNA Knockouts Title has been held by Gail Kim, Kong, Taylor Wilide, Angelina Love, and Victoria. Most are good, but titles cant gain more pretige than a title that has been around decades longer than it.

those people are a slap in the face to the women who actually held the title with dignity.

so a few non-wrestlers sprinkled throughout an awesome legacy just cancels out all the prestige built up through the years?

I dont see that being fair.

one of these days TNA may go that route with their title...putting it on the waste of a girl who is more over even if she isnt the strongest athlete.

honestly, Stephanie was the best non-wrestler to hold that title...her match with a green trish at NWO 2001 was very impressive for someone at her skill level.

even her match with Lita when she finally lost the belt, Stephanie proved she has some amount of skill. Had she pursued a wrestling career I think she would've been quite impressive.

I'm far from a sable fan but she was a good athlete.

WWE Womens Championship: has been around since 1956

TNA Knockouts Championship: has been around since 2007

Do you notice the difference here? There is no way a title that has been around for two years can even have time to get as prestigious as a title from 1956. As much as people like Taylor Wilde or Angelina Love, you can hardly call them legends. There has been some talented girls who have held the TNA KO title, but none of them are on the legend level that some former Women's Champions are. Talent doesnt always equal legendary status, look at Hulk Hogan.

I know the WOMEN's title has been around longer and had some awesome girls hold it like (Lita, Trish, Mickie, Melina, Molly, Jacqueline, Ivory, Chyna, Jazz and Victoria) but I do see where Meshell is coming from. She is quite possibly talking about currently which title has the most prestige, block out the past women's champions and base your choice from the year 2007 to now. In 07, TNA created a division and thus far 5 actual wrestlers have won the title. 2 former divas (Tara, Gail Kim) and three great talents (Kong, Taylor and Angelina Love) Although TNA almost had Christy Hemme win it. WTF??? shocked

Women's title = history and in all honesty...there might not be a KOs title or KOs division if WWE didnt shine the light on female athletes in the first place.

To answer the question the wwe womens championship-Becasue of the history, many talented women like Lita, Molly, Mickie, Beth, Victoria, Jacquline, Jazz, Mollah and others have held it. \

2nd plavce the KO title.

3rd that Divas title-I feel that title has no crediblity they had perfect oppertunity to put it on Nattie, which IMO will have made it more credible but they didnt. So there.

I really don't think any of them have presitige. The Divas title thing has been beaten to a pulp. And for all the lineage the Women's title does have.. Really? You would think they would want to celebrate the way some of you guys are making the history sound like. Hell, they just gave it to someone who doesn't sell, isn't interesting and gets credit for "being the best DS contestant".. And I already ranted about that.
