here is an update on WWE plans for :raw: guest hosts i find:

As things stand currently, Dusty Rhodes is expected to appear on RAW tonight on-camera with celebrity guest-hosts ZZ Top.
Regarding future celebrity guest-hosts for RAW, WWE sources claim it will continue for as long as they can deliver them. WWE is apparently happy with the concept and are considering Snoop Dogg and Sheryl Crow, among others, as future celebrity guest-hosts.

I like the Celebrity host idea. It's fun and exciting. I hope it continues a good long time.

It's completely stupid and pointless.

It's good from a business standpoint, but from mine standpoint, it's just stupid.

What Raw needs is a General Manager, not pop culture icons dropping though on a weekly basis to basically do nothing.

Well WWE is appealing to kids now and kids want pop culture icons and stuff. Hopefully they return to TV-14.

Basketketball is a global sport... many ppl play and/or watch it. The NBA is the iggest baskestball organization in the world... ppl in many countries get to see him play. So in a sense, he is does appeal to those around the world.

The ppl who are rumored to be special guests in the future do appeal to peopl globally; but the reason they aren't able to have a celebrity from let's say Puerto Rico (random) be the guest is traveling. Also, because WWE performs mainly here in the states... he wants to have goood national ratings.
