The September 2009 issue of Playboy hit mailboxes this past week and the preview for next month's issue makes zero mention of TNA Knockout Traci Brooks, who is scheduled to appear in that month's issue. This is quite peculiar as she was reportedly tapped to appear on the cover of the magazine. Brooks' pictorial is set to be featured in the October 2009 issue as she said herself she would be doing a big media tour in October to promote the issue as well as several autograph signings.
It would appear that Brooks was promised the cover of Playboy considering she said she would be going on a media tour to promote the issue and they don't do a media blitz unless they are on the cover. However, even if she was initially promised the cover, plans can always change. For instance, Christine "ForBiddeN" Dolce of MySpace fame was assured she would appearing on the cover of a 2006 issue when she shot her pictorial, but plans were nixed after the previous editor was fired — which left her very upset to say the least.
