AAA ran an angle on Monday night where Konnan made his return to AAA as there were no announcers for the show as they weren’t where they were supposed to be so Konnan & Arturo Rivera showed up on their own telling Joaquin Roldan that they were going to be the announcers for the show. Konnan said that he couldn’t be legally suspended by Roldan and he would be announcing. Televisa is having problems with AAA right now probably due to AAA getting a new TV deal with FOX Sports Espanol and wanting to run PPV’s.
Cibernetico told Box y Lucha this week that his return to AAA has been full of surprises and the main one in particular is the fact that the coward Dr. Wagner Jr. holds the belt he never lost in the AAA Mega Heavyweight Title taking it from El Mesias at Triplemania XVII in June. Ciber said that he must defeat these two men to get back on top of AAA where he belongs and will do it alone. Ciber said that they will have no place to hide inside the steel cage especially Wagner who has fled every attempt he has had to face him in the ring. Ciber said that his vast experience of cage matches will definitely help him but still feels like this match should be one-on-one against Wagner because Mesias has no claim to be the #1 contender.
The Japanese crew in EMLL aka NO LIMIT (Tetsuya Naito & Yujiro Takahashi) and Shigeo Okumura told Box y Lucha this week that their recent successess has motivated them and they are now ready to take the CMLL Trios Titles away from Hector Garza, Hijo del Fantasma, & La Mascara. Okumura said that the Japan vs. Mexico war is in full effect and that Garza has already felt their wrath in the past and they know that he is an easy target for their plans of taking the titles. Yujiro said that he wants to prove the superiority of Japan over Mexico by taking the CMLL Trios Titles and sent a message to Black Warrior on a personal level saying that after he betrayed him in the Infierno del Ring cage match a few weeks ago, he wants to take his hair. Yujiro said that he proved how great he is by staying in that cage to punish the Mexicans while said Mexicans were showing their cowardice by fleeing the cage as fast as they could.
Fabi Apache told Box y Lucha this week that she is conflicted on what she would rather see happen at Verano de Escandalo on Friday in Monterrey which is forcing Billy Boy to shave his head or Sexy Star unmasking to show her true identity. Fabi said that Sexy Star has been trying to break up her family for 2 years and that she finally succeeded so she would like to see her show her face to the world.
Sexy Star answered back saying that he is hoping that she gets some alone time in the cage with Fabi to prove once and for all that she is the better woman with the support of Billy Boy. Sexy said she wants to humiliate Fabi & Aero Star along with proving the experts wrong whom all think she will lose her mask and told the fans who come to the show to bring bags to help collect Fabi’s hair. Sexy said that if she loses her mask though she won’t be worried because she is sexy of course.
CMLL Femenil champion Amapola told Box y Lucha recently that she believes that she is the greatest female wrestler to hold the title but now here main goal right now is to unify her title with Princesa Blanca’s Mexican National Femenil Title. Amapola said that she has put a lot of time working out in the gym and that she feels she is at her peak right now and she wants new challenges such as unifying the titles.
