Wrestler asking for his release

The PWTorch Newsletter reports that Homicide is telling friends that he asked for his release from TNA over a month ago, but his request was denied.

Apparently he’s been frustrated by the company wanting to split up him and Hernandez. People close to the situation feel that he was given the X Division title in an attempt to make him want to stay around.

it was rumored dixie wanted to do it for a while

i saw that coming, they both voiced their displeasure with breaking LAX up, and they did it anyway

i'll miss him. He's one of my faves in TNA

At least they ain't knocking heads. TNA's horrible about using that cliche "We were a tag and now we hate each other". Talk about bad booking.


Sucks for Homicide. TNA's the only company in America non-WWE that could pay him. Not saying he has an ego or anything, but that's what I think.

Homicide is officially a Tard, seriously, technically TNA never "split" the team, both just went into individual directions and are finally making names for themselves. I've been eager to see a TNA Original get a push (who isn't AJ Styles, Daniels or Samoa Joe) and it's happening with Hernandez. He's getting his chance and Homicide is X-Division champ. What more can you ask for seriously? They never put Hernandez & Homicide in a heated rivalry and never showed that these two despise and hate each other, so to me it's not "official" the team is broken up, it's simply Both wanted to take an individual path, something i'd hope they would do with Roode & Storm with one going after the Legends championship and the other for the World championship without officially breaking up the team.

Homicide is bitching for no real reason TBH, but oh well

correction, Samoa Joe is the X Division champion. and he has a right to bitch, they told him the team wasnt being split up, and they turn them both into singles wrestlers, PLUS Hernandez doesnt use the LAX theme anymore....so...they arent a tag team anymore

my thoughts is that homicide if he does leave won't go any where besides roh or AAA.i don't see wwe wanting him and if they do he wont get anywhere and will be released without a title. and if he does leave it wouldnt be a huge hit to tna.

he wont go to AAA, he'd probably go back to ROH

I honestly can care less, I'm more of a Hernandez fan anyways. I would love him to be in the Main Event scene, Homicide wants to quit? Fine by me! Bring back somebody who wants to be there TNA! Petey Williams rings a bell.

and i also im not totally fussed, never was a big fan of either of them, when i first saw them they had Konnan as their manager, and i never really liked him either.

thats what i thought too, i remember reading that everyone was shocked when he got released saying how culd they let someone who did everything they asked gett released

he was unhappy with the direction his character was going or some shit, thus he asked for the release

Hey dude, I don't get the hype for Hernandez. He's boring, generic, powerhouse with a Mexican descent. Sure, he can do a suicide dive but that's about the only thing that I think is cool.

Homicide is made to seem like he is not the best of the team (when they were together, and Hernandez got more limelight) when he honestly is the better of the two. I wish Homicide was receiving this push over Hernandez, he's much more entertaining.

And as for him leaving, I really hope he doesn't, he's one of the best in TNAs and one of my personal favorites.
