-- WWE developmental talent Angela Fong, who is expected to replace the departing Lilian Garcia as a ring announcer in WWE, worked live events over the weekend. Furthermore, she is backstage at tonight's Raw in Detroit (according to a brief note on her Twitter account). It should also be noted that she was not brought in for Raw last week as she worked Florida Championship Wrestling live events during SummerSlam weekend

:omg: I thought it was going to be her, i think its good for her since she hasn't been called up to the main roster as a wrestler yet. I would like for her to announce on Raw she is a good announcer on FCW imo. She can gain more exposure and maybe she will be involved in some storylines and hopefully eventually become a full time wrestler but if she doesn't i don't care as long as she's on WWE TV and she probably still wrestle down in FCW anyway though.

i just thought of something
she can remain as an announcer on Raw, wrestle in FCW, and then next year at the draft, her and Justin Roberts can trade, as Justin seems to be their new fav announcer, Anglea then on SD, can be worked into a storyline

I actually hate this news though, I wanted The Fink back.

i do too, i dont know why on earth they havent brung him back
Angela at the current moment would be more use as a wrestler then an announcer

I don't see the point in bringing in someone who will eventually be a wrestler as an announcer? It's like bringing in a referee to eventually become a full time wrestler? Oh wait TNA did that scratch

Why not make Maria or Rosa or Kelly a full time announcer and hope they choke on the mic or something. or just hire a idol reject or an aspiring singer to do it?? really is as easy as that, if not they could always open a magazine, pick up a playboy issue or go to the next basketball game to find an announcer instead of a wrestler

that said referee turned wrestler is in FCW, lmao
