Vampires are taking over Television thats for sure... We have True Blood and Twilight and now The Vampire Diaries! I know that the premise is about two brothers who are Vampires trying to win over some girl. Interesting indeed!

Four actresses from The CW’s The Vampire Diaries were charged with disorderly conduct for hanging off a bridge and allegedly flashing motorists during an Aug. 22 promotional photo shoot in Forsyth, Ga., a Monroe County Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman confirmed to EW.
According to police documents, two deputies arrived at the Rumble Road Bridge in Forsyth after receiving numerous calls about “females hanging from the bridge.” The officers encountered the four Vampire Diaries actresses — Candice Accola, Sara Canning, Nina Dobrev, and Kayla Ewell — as well as photographer Tyler Shields and actress Krystal Vayda (who doesn’t appear in Vampire Diaries). One of the officers checked Shields’ camera and found “numerous photographs of the females hanging, sitting, and straddling the bridge,” according to the report. One photo even displayed a “female being held by her legs by the other females, as if they were trying to throw her over.”
The six individuals were taken into custody, paid a fine to a bonding company, and were released the same day, according to a Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman. A network rep for The Vampire Diaries had no comment.

The show, which shoots in Georgia, premiered last night to strong ratings.

Last Thursday, Vampire Diaries bowed to The CW’s highest debut ratings ever. So Kayla Ewell, who plays Vicki on the show, has a request: Stop talking about those supposed mug shots that made the rounds on the Internet last week, and start talking about those ratings. “Having this be the first story that’s released is so frustrating,” Ewell says. “[The situation] is so exaggerated and [has been] made into something it’s not.”

A little background: On Aug. 22, police responded to several phone calls about a group of women who were allegedly flashing motorists and hanging off a bridge in Forsyth, Ga. When police arrived at the scene, they found four actresses from Vampire Diaries — Candice Accola, Sara Canning, Nina Dobrev and Ewell — and a photographer, Tyler Shields. (Another actress who does not appear on the show, Krystal Vayda, was also on the scene.) Officers looking through the group’s pics found “numerous photographs of the females hanging, sitting, and straddling the bridge,” according to a report by the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office. As EW previously reported, the six were taken into police custody, paid a fine, and were released soon after.
But, according to Ewell, the incident was more innocent than it was made out to be. The actress says while on a road trip with her castmates (the show shoots nearby), the group decided to stop to take pictures on a bridge. That’s when they were rushed by Monroe County cops. “They were like, ‘We’re getting calls that people are flashing,’” Ewell says. “And we’re like, ‘Whoa, whoa, whoa. The only thing that’s flashing is our camera.’” The actress says that after showing police their photos, the group was asked to follow officials to the police station, where they were ticketed for loitering on a public walkway.
So why did motorists allegedly think the actresses were exposing themselves? “I have no idea,” Ewell says. “We are not the type of girls who flash our breasts. In all honesty, the size of my breasts aren’t necessarily something people would be interested in. It’s so ridiculous. I would never do that.” (As for those rumors that the group was drinking? Not true, says Ewell: “I mean, this happened at 11 am in the morning.”)
But Ewell and the cast is still trying to focus on the positive, regardless of whatever bad press the situation created. “We’re trying to straighten everything out and be happy that we’re on a fabulous TV show,” she says. “As a cast, we have all worked so incredibly hard to get here. We don’t want people to think of us this way.”

I finally watched all four episodes and I LOVE IT! First off, this is one of the sexiest casts eva!

Its good to know at least half of the cast lol. I really like the brothers (Stephan and Damon) One good and one bad. I dont know who Elena should be with

Bonnie is a interesting character, is she a witch? I like her.

I dont know who Vicky should choose because I actually like her with both Tyler and Elena's lil brother.

The blonde girl (Caroline?) SO ANNOYING!

I was pissed when they didn't hook up Damon and Bonnie in the books and if they don't do it on this show; so help me I shall hunt down the writers and kill them along with the idiots who decided to let Michael Bay produce a remake of Nightmare on Elm Street.

OMG! I literally love this show, its so "Buffyish"

I was sad that Damon killed his uncle, it came out of nowhere but the other two things that literally had me either jumping off my seat or gasping or BOTH was when Damon SNAPPED Vicki's neck, I really thought she was a goner but of course she never dies LOL! She's going to be a hilarious vampire lol. The other thing was when Stephan was having flashbacks of Katherine and SHE WAS THE ONE THAT TURNED HIM INTO A VAMPIRE! Absolutely shocking, of course if I was paying attention I should have saw that coming. I like Tyler and the lack of him sucks, he's a cutie. I'm expecting Vicki to kill him one day soon and I like him Tyler should hook up with Bonnie or Elena's ex can, she needs a man BADLY!

Can't wait for the next eppy!

OMG I'm soooooooooooooooo pissed both Vicky and Lexi died, WTF Once Vicki turned into a vampire, I was looking forward to her storyline as a vampire with issues? LOL! She was insane and I loved it, the way she died was intense. Then after losing Vickie, insert Lexie. The old friend of Stephan and she took over for Vickie instantly, loved her crazy ass and she was so sweet playing matchmaker with both Stephan and Elena, then Damon killed her (in a pretty interesting turn of events) I'm really loving this show, lots of crazy shit happens ahaha. The teacher seems to be a vampire and when did Logan turn into a vampire? Anyways I love that Damon and Stephan were bonding, awwww

Bonnie is hands down the best heroine on this show, they better not kill her off, the chemistry with Damon is awesome. She needs a man ASAP! and where the hell is Tyler? He's another cutie that needs a girlfriend.

Caroline and Matt is a good pairing

I read all the books ages ago and it's the books that turned me into a fan of the Bonnie/Damon romance, that's why I'm really hoping that the show will show the two of them together as a couple.

This book series came out loooooooooooong before Stephenie Meyer made a killing by selling her wet dream to horny schoolgirls and housewives who don't know that cold sparkly peen is a no-no.

I tried reading Twilight, but the story comes across as a really bad fanfic written by a thirteen-year-old who just discovered the thesaurus tool in Microsoft Word. Plus the author gained my dislike by calling The Lost Boys gross and her fans gained my eternal hatred by dissing my horror god Stephen King, you do NOT fuck with Stephen King.

In a magazine interview around the time the first Twilight movie came out, they asked her what she thought of other vampire flicks like Interview With A Vampire and The Lost Boys, she said "Yuck" and that she thought the films were "Gross" and she formed this childlike opinion having saw only a few scenes.

Oh, I thought the books had come out recently.

Nah, the series first started around 1991 and remained pretty popular for the last decade, when they became hard to find; they were re-released and the following grew. Because of the recently popularity with the older books, the author decide to and add more books to the series.

Probably, I could make a list of teen vampire novels better than Twilight.

Silver Kiss, Song of the Vampire, Vampire Twins series, The Last Vampire series, and so on.

Oh my god! Those goddamn Delena fans turned Blue over to the dark side! You do not want Delena, you want Bamon aka Donnie because they're hot and have way more charisma, fight the evil Blue! Fight it!

Think of the hot Bamon lovin', the sheer passion, the snarky remarks as they diss Stelena for breaking up for the 654846 time, those moments when when fight because the don't want to admit that they're in love, but then the two stare into one each others eyes before making out.

Watching the episode now and I'm seeing a lot of familiar places, I know the show is filmed in Georgia, so if it is where I think it is; Ian Somerhalder here I come!
