Mixed martial arts fighter Gina Carano will star in Steven Soderbergh’s Knockout, Variety reports. The spy thriller, set to start production in late January, will mark Carano’s first major role on the big screen. The La Femme Nikita-like script tells the story of a woman from the wrong side of the tracks who gets a second chance to use her fighting skills for good.
