When do decide that some one is a friend, is it immediately after talking to them or does it take a while?

Because for me it takes a while, I have to really get to know who ever it is I'm talking to before I consider them anything other than an acquittance.

I'm usually a little shy around new people, so its really when I feel comfortable around them.

I also can tell whether someone is trustworthy at the first meeting, 95% I get it right, so I tend to steer clear of those who give off a bad vibe at the first meeting.

Well....when i could be around them and feel absolutly normal. I have some messed up friends...some more messed up then me, some more messed up then the others....but if i could feel normal around them...then i consider them friends.
