I REALLY wanted to see this match and I was pissed it never happened..
If anything Edge should have cut a promo saying that this match can only happen if my girlfriend Lita is involved.
The GM would agree and then Lita could get the cheap win like she did 1 week later..
Were those positive chants for Lita? All I heard was her name..
That was a good interaction between Edge/Lita and Carlito/Trish.
The mixed tag match was solid. It got a good amount of time and the ending was memorable.
I guess Lita getting the pin on the # 1 contender Trish gave her the title shot the following week.
Trish actually listed this match in her top 5 Raw matches of all time so that is really awesome considering she has had so many!
