WWE Smackdown house show results

Just got back from a SD house show. Overall, it was an ok show. It is sort of a small venue, so it wasn't anything special. I had the best seat in the house, first row mid level. A perfect view, well it would have been if the damn security guards weren't in our way. Anyhow, on to the results.
First, it was The Great Khaili vs David Otunga. Since when did Otunga start flexing like Chris Masters?
It was a slow match. Khaili won, nothing special.
Divas match. Alicia Fox beat Aksana.
Jinder Mahal and Heath Slater of 3MB had a tag match ( holla holla holla) against Justin Gabriel and Bo Dallas from NXT. A lot of nice spots and the crowd was in to Bo. Gabriel got the win with a 450 splash.
Wade Barrett vs Kofi Kingston for the Intercontinental Championship was next. Kofi had control for most of the first half, until Barrett hit the winds of change. After a two count, Kofi did his signature comeback attack, tried for a Trouble in Paradise, Barrett countered into the Bullhammer for the win. After the match, Barrett went back into the ring for another Bullhammer, but Kofi hit the Trouble in Paradise
Next was Cody Rhodes vs Randy Orton in a No Dq match. It was a usual Orton match. Nothing to say.
After intermission, Yoshi Tatsu fought Fandango. The crowd hated him instantly. Fandango won though. Anyone know if or when he is going to debut?
Next, Damien Sandow came out and did his usual bit insulting the audience. He then said he would ask three questions that would allow us "halfwits" to redeem ourselves. He asked the city, then state, then he asked if he was the greatest in the WWE, then Sheamus came out for a match. Sheamus made short work of him.
Lastly, it was Alberto Del Rio vs Big Show in a WHC match. It was really quick, with Del Rio getting a Shining Wizard for the win. Very disappointing main event. | |
