The 11 Women With The Best Odds To Win Comedy Supporting Actress At The 2013 Emmys Are..?

By canvassing experts, editors and users, Gold Derby has determined that there are 11 women still in contention to reap bids for Best Comedy Supporting Actress this year. Only six will make the final cut when Emmy nominations are unveiled on July 18.

Those ladies with odds to win of better than 100/1 from any group in our poll -- our Experts, Editors, Top 24 Users, and Overall Users -- are profiled below.

With Kristen Wiig ("Saturday Night Live") no longer eligible and the passing of Kathryn Joosten ("Desperate Housewives"), the category has two guaranteed open slots.

Julie Bowen ("Modern Family") has won this category two consecutive years and is predicted to prevail yet again with 12/5 odds. She has the votes of 10 Experts, three Editors (Darrin Dortch, Rob Licuria, David Schnelwar), 10 of our Top 24 Users, and 28% of Overall Users. Those Experts are Robert Bianco (USA Today), Debra Birnbaum (TV Guide), Pete Hammond (Deadline Hollywood), Daniel Manu (TV Without Pity), Steve Pond (The Wrap), Lynette Rice (Entertainment Weekly), Matt Roush (Entertainment Weekly), Sasha Stone (Awards Daily), Ken Tucker (Entertainment Weekly), and Glenn Whipp (L.A. Times).

Next up is her co-star Sofia Vergara at 9/2, but she has the backing of only one Expert (John Kubicek, Buddy TV) and 18% of Overall Users. She has earned nominations for the first three seasons of her show.

Tied with Vergara in second place at 9/2 is past Emmy champ Jessica Walter ("Arrested Development"), who had one failed bid for this show in 2005. She has the support of three Experts (Lynn Elber, Associated Press; Tom O'Neil, Gold Derby; Paul Sheehan, Gold Derby), four Editors (Chris Beachum, Marcus Dixon, Daniel Montgomery, Matt Noble), three Top 24 Users, and 16% of Overall Users.

Another tie for the fourth spot pits three-time contender Jane Krakowski ("30 Rock") against 2012 nominee Mayim Bialik ("The Big Bang Theory"). Both have 10/1 odds this year. Krakowski was snubbed last year but might return for the final season of her show with 10% votes from Overall Users. Bialik is the choice of one Expert (Mike Cidoni, Associated Press) and 9% of Overall Users.

The sixth spot goes to Critics Choice champ Kaley Cuoco ("The Big Bang Theory") who has 4% of Overall Users predicting her to prevail with her first Emmy bid.

Close behind at 50/1 are Allison Williams ("Girls") and 2012 nominee Merritt Wever ("Nurse Jackie"). Tied for seventh, Williams has 3% votes from Overall Users, while Wever has 2%.

Emmy favorite Betty White ("Hot in Cleveland") was nominated for this role in 2011 but now has 100/1 odds. She is supported by Overall Users with 50/1 odds. She is tied for ninth with Anna Chlumsky ("Veep") and Zosia Mamet ("Girls").

No other woman has better than 100/1 odds. An impressive roster of previous nominees for their current roles are predicted to snubbed: Jenna Fischer ("The Office"), Cloris Leachman ("Raising Hope"), and Jane Lynch ("Glee"). And, among those other ladies expected to be overlooked are Ellen Barkin ("The New Normal"), Kristen Bell ("House of Lies"), Diane Ladd ("Enlightened"), Kate McKinnon and Cecily Strong ("Saturday Night Live"), Aubrey Plaza and Rashida Jones ("Parks and Recreation"), and Critics Choice champ Eden Sher ("The Middle").

I like Julie Bowen and Sofia Vergara in Modern Family but I want Jessica Walter to win for playing the hilarious Lucille Bluth!

Mayim Bialik would be my choice. Mostly because I've only watched BBT and Mayim Bialik plays her character better than Kaley Cuoco.
