Diva To Be Added To Total Divas

WWE.com has confirmed the news in an official announcement, stating that the third season will premiere on Sunday, September 7th.

They also dropped a casting bombshell, revealing that Rosa Mendes will be added to the cast:

“Former model and WWE Diva Rosa Mendes joins the cast for season three. A veteran of the Divas Division since 2006, Rosa has spent the past year with her eyes on the cast of Total Divas. Now that she’s one of them, there is no telling what may happen next.”

Aside from that, much of Total Divas appears to be staying the same: the rest of the Divas will be returning to the show, and it will continue to air in the 9pm ET time slot on E!.

I read somewhere people were saying this will spice things up, but IMO the only way their going to spice things up is if they focus on something new. It's been all about Nikki/Cena relationship troubles. I mean that takes up more than half the episode then the others get a couple minutes here and there.

I don't know if this is the right move or not. I feel bad for Rosa I really do. She's real good on the mic. Just watch her against Beth Phoenix on Smackdown. Yes she is awful in the ring, but WWE hasn't given her a chance really anywhere else. Yeah she has managed some guys, but nothing big. I remember them teasing her with ADR and that would've been gold! She's been so irrelevant now I doubt this will do much for her.

She has been around what? 8 years now? I'm excited for it yeah, but I just feel like Rosa's time is over. IMO they have too many Divas now, not on TD, just in general there's so many now.

Rosa Mendes IMO should of been gone a Long Time ago.Everytime WWE had there annual budget cut thing I always had Rosa On my top picks Rosa Sucks period.And now she will be future in more matches soon which is REALLY gonna suck and on top of that we already have Eva Marie on the other I just can't deal with them two.

All the Divas besides her has been used respectively she hasn't been seen for MONTHS and all of sudden just 2 weeks before mania she just shows up and gets a match at WM???.I swear if WWE had A Big Bankruptcy Budget Cut only 3 people will survive John Cena,JTG and Rosa Mendes.
