Report: Big Update on WWE's Possible War Games PPV

The Figure Four Weekly Newsletter is reporting that although WWE is considering bringing back the idea of the War Games PPV, it most likely will not be done in the same manner that WCW ran the gimmick. In the past few years, the idea of running a War Games match or PPV has come up from time to time in WWE creative meetings, but for one reason or another the idea is consistently shot down. This time around, management has told creative to go back and watch old War Games style matches and then take aspects of the match style to incorporate into a new version of War Games for WWE to use. WWE is also toying with the idea of using the War Games match for another Raw vs Smackdown bout. Nothing has been confirmed at this point, and the idea is only in the discussion phase.

They need to keep WarGames dead; Dusty Rhodes say it himself: it had its day-If they bring it back, they will destroy it ridiculously; look what they did to the Hell in a Cell!!! GARBAGE! and it looks like the Elimination Chamber is next on their match-destruction list.....

I have never seen a war games match so I guess it would be interesting. I hate wwe themed ppvs though. They need to stop killing all of the good ppvs.

The problem with them bringing the concept back for me is that there really isn't two groups that want to kill each other enough to lock them in a cage. There's no intensity and the crowds totally suck ass.

i has to agre with u. i think it mr. mcman fault it like this tho. wen stars cross over to shows they not spose to b on to often [like stars on & vise vursa] then it just push fact mor that it all WWE. If this happen less it wuld feel more like a competition between 2 seperat shows that want to prov they the best. how will it seem that way now when the fact that it all wwe mr. mcman push down peples throtes
