Report: Update on The Future of Shawn Michaels in WWE

ProWrestling.net is reporting that unlike before, Shawn Michaels is currently not giving anyone in [color:2c27=#900][color:2c27=#900! important][color:2c27=#900! important]WWE the impression that he plans to retire within the next year. In fact, it seems more like Michaels plans to wrestle for another 2 to even 3 years with the company, as his schedule might allow him to do so. Unlike most WWE [color:2c27=#900][color:2c27=#900! important][color:2c27=#900! important]wrestlers, Shawn Michaels does not work a full-time schedule with the company, so he sees less in-ring time than most stars, which might allow him to wrestle longer if he wants to. When Michaels does decide to hang up the boots, it is believed that he will receive a big sendoff similar to that of [color:2c27=#900][color:2c27=#900! important][color:2c27=#900! important]Ric [color:2c27=#900! important]Flair.

Wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't retire.

I dont think Michaels needs the belt. He cant get any more over, so whats the point.
Besides, my money is on HHH putting the belt on himself. Again.

Well, we all know, or should know, that he doesn't need the title; but when someone says that they'd like to see him get another run with the gold, all that is just what they'd like to see. Overness has nothing to do with preference in Michaels' case.

He's not going to retire until his kids are set up, which they've tied into angles before

I AGREE NCD *sorry caps*. Overness doesnt mean anything to a title, or them getting it back. if that was the case non of the MEs NEED a world title anymore
id like to see another HBK reign. But im also expecting HHH to win it, and then feud with HBK. well more so hoping then expecting.
but although i dont like Cena as champ. i dont want to see the title changes hands 4 times within 3-4 months

HHH wants to beat Flair's record thats why

HBK doesn't want the title because he doesn't want to work all the time. He is old for a wrestler, but that doesn't mean he wants to totally stop performing.

means nothing, Taker is old for a wrestler too and hes the current champion. plus hes not supposed to be working full time because of his lasting injuries. fuck Flair wanted to work full time again. so just because hes old doesnt mean anything

It DOES mean something. Shawn is just taking advantage of his position in the company. Why else hasn't he had the title since.. Hell, I think 2002?

no, it doesnt. there were guys OLDER then him working full time. see what i just did there? btw, HBK isnt all about titles, hence why he hasnt won one since being a tag champ in 2007. hes more of putting ppl over then anything else

So, who has that title on SD and is horrible shape working a lot? Yeah, Taker. Respect the hell out of the guy, but he shouldn't try to work so damn hard.

he has the title, because Punk fucked up on a overseas tour. even when Taker ISNT working a lot, hes still in horrible shape

Dead is right... Taker doesn't work full-time anymore and he's champ. I guess the only difference if they put the WWE title on Michaels' would be the travel route - he'd have to do a few more shows than he wants. But he wouldn't be a full-time performer.
