Cherry: What could have been?

Cherry was coming along nicely early last year during her short feud with Maryse. I personally thought she had a bright future ahead of her, boy was I wrong. A few weeks after the 2008 draft (when Maria) was drafted to Smackdown. Cherry was released, just like that. There was speculation that it was due to her weight but who knows? The point of this topic is had Cherry stayed employed, where would she be now? What would you have loved to see from Cherry? Which feuds would she have had by now? The girl was getting over as time was going by, imagine how over she’d be now? So what could have been with Cherry?

The Feud with Maryse could've been great. Its too bad, I really liked Cherry.

They released her because she refused to act like Kelly Kelly...(whore). Seriously, she actually had something different to her character, but wwe just uses her for the time being, them lets her go without a reason. Typical.

She was the Molly Holly of this generation in so many ways. She had all the right tools to be the next Trish- Starting off as a heel manager, breaking off into singles.

If it was because of her weight, then WWE are pathetic. They think they know what WE want, but this just shows that they don't. Seriously, I'm sure that most guys would agree that they would rather get it on with someone Cherry's size, rather than A Kelly Kelly figure. Theres a reason theres an occupation called 'models'. We have to put up with fucking ugly beared and obnoxious Mike Knox, but Cherry isn't good enough? Bullshit!

I loved Cherry on so many levels, lol.

You have no idea, she was one of my faves. The crowd loved her too as they could tell she was not another skinny bimbo.

Ugh, I can't even talk about her release w/ out getting heated.

she coulda been added to that list of divas live crowds gave a fuck about aka Mickie, Melina, Maria and Kelly.
the fact it is possibly *and most likly* about her weight, is stupid, even if she has a few extra pounds, she still looked hawt in a poker dot bikini

she had a unique look, none of the divas looked like her, and she was somewhat over, so i don't see why she was released.

i'm not saying shes one of my favorites, but, she didn't need to be released, sure some of her skills could have been improved on but she was over!

I thought it was sad they released her. I really liked her. She was adorable and had a different look. I didnt see a thing wrong with her weight, she looked great in a bikini.

I think she will have gotten over more and maybe become a divas champion.

The funny thing with Cherry was, she had to downgrade her skills tremendously to look like a losty and newbie in the ring, yet she still looked better than half the divas on the damn roster xD

I loved Cherry, she definitely was my favorite Diva. I couldn't believe WWE actually let her become a competitor though. As much as I loved her, seeing it was WWE I never thought they would let her leave the managing thing. But damn I was glad they let her step out into her own. It was amazing seeing her wrestle in WWE but it sucks it was short lived . I miss her.

And what bothered me was that they released her before revealing her Summer Skin shoot! ugh! At least we got to see a few pictures from it though, even if they weren't the standard WWE photos.

I wonder what she is up to, last time i read up on her she gave up wrestling and supposedly went back to school or something along those lines.
