Bret Hart praises Melina >.<

WWE Hall of Fame, Bret ‘The Hitman’ Hart had some very kinda words to say about Melina in a recent interview with Ministry of Slam! He even says a comment which I’m sure will spark some sort of uproar:

“I think Melina is… creative and imaginative, an innovator and she comes up with some great matches I love watching her wrestle… in a lot of ways I think she’s the best wrestler in the world.”

I agree with him, she's always finding something new to bring to the table and definitely has one of the better movesets out of the divas. I wouldn't call her the best wrestler in the world though, but she is great.

I know it may just be his personal opinion...But he would know what real talent is a lot better than any of us would.

well i think melina from when she first came in to the WWE with MNM to now she has really improved but i would not say the best in the world but the WWE have not used Natalya the right way and i think bert doesnt want to sould like he is showing favoritetism to his niece.

I like Melina but damn Bret slow your role buddy, she is a good wrestler (in terms of divas that is) but in the world? No! just No! :ewwa:

I respect Bret but i don't know about her being the best in the world, I'm sorry. I would say this catches me as more of a crush than anything but Bret would know what he's talking about..just don't agree this time.

All i can say, is Throw msChiff on TV for 2 weeks and we'll see how "creative and Imaginative" Melina is

yea get anyone from japan right now and they are WAY better than melina 10x better

forgive me for sounding like I'm mocking Bret but I'm sure Melina is the 'best (female) wrestler in the world' cinsidering WWE is the most prominently shown promotion in the world AND 'examining' above aaallllll the female grapplers all across the world Melina is the 'best of all of them'. That just doesn't sound right. SURELY, bret came up with this from a FAIR perspective because I'm SURE Hitman watches all of those programs to sum up his observations....

I seen this awhile ago on another forum when he was asked who was his favorite diva and he said Melina and everyone on the other forum was shocked that he didn't say his niece Natalya but like everyone else he has his own opinion to.

I agree with Bret as well. I know she isnt the best of the best but she is better then most of the divas WWE has right now. She brings a lot to the table. Shes fun to watch.

He's off on this....I'm not sure if he wants to bang her or if he has banged her in the past but she's botching as much as Maria and Kelly Kelly on a weekly basis. She is NOWHERE on the same planet as Dark Angel, Melissa, Katie Lea, Kong, or Hamada.

Kong isn't that great...Thats like saying Umaga is one of the best, because they have similar speed/styles.

She is nowhere near as bad as Kelly and Maria so that's silly talk. She's only had problems with Jillian. Kelly and Maria just aren't that good in the ring especially Maria. But no, she's still not the best wrestler in the world so he was definitely off on that.

Don't bother. They see Kelly, Maria & Melina in one sentence and they freak and asume so. it's in their nature. They can't help it. Although the diffrence between them aren't that big.

True, lol. But to be fair she has only botched with Jillian, when she's facing others she's just fine

the fact is every diva botches EVERY diva, some are more obvious then others, and i cant help but notice Melina has become a lot more obvious, Mickie used to be like this but now Melina is

I'm not saying Melina doesn't botch because like you said, every diva does at some point, no one is perfect. She didn't botch in the ring tonight from what I saw which was surprising since Jillian was in there

Umaga a joke? He is really great for his size, and one of the better big wrestlers WWE has ever seen. Despite this, he isn't on Edge's or HBK's level. The same is said for Kong.

Eve botches? Lately? Really? Funny since she hardly wrestles :ewwa: She has issues with her stamina but I actually cant remember a time when she botched something.

How does she have stamina issues? Shes one of the more athletic and fit divas.

She botches as much as them these days so it's not as silly as one like you would believe. She still can't do her finisher right and got outworked by a returning Maryse on Monday night. Maria SUCKS in the ring. She's a disgrace to natural progression and Kelly Kelly's half efforts are cringeworhy just like the Melina matches from Smackdown were.

LMAO, she got outworked by Maryse? Were you watching the same match? Melina was an angry hellcat in that match actually doing OFFENSE yet all Maryse could come up with was her finisher, she didn't do any other move. All Maryse has going for her at the moment is her character, her ring skills suck and tonight showed that.

i was only referring to Eve botching that sunset dive and a few other times in SSeries

At least shes botching Sunset Dives, and not basic moves like an elbow like Kelly and Maria.
