People won't care about TNA. I think the point is Bischoff and Hogan got it right you ain't gonna watch a company focused on X division will never do good in the ratings. You need heavyweights and the best thing that when they did good in ratings when Kurt Angle held the title. I don't think people are gonna turn into watch Aj Styles vs Chris Daniels.

I hate to admit it but if you told me Aj Style vs Hulk Hogan I would turn in because Hogan is a popular name that a lot of people heard of and he got star name power. That's more likly to draw me then Aj Style vs Somoa Joe or Aj Styles vs Chris Daniels.

Don't get me wrong I might watch Aj Styles vs Desmond Wolfe but I'm not gonna watch X Division wrestler face each other over and over again for 16th time.

ZOMG CP!!!! Don’t chu know? If TNA dares to have ex WWE wrestlers in the spotlight, it’s a sin! Damn that TNA for not doing anything original, damn them to hell. I mean look at AJ and Daniels, both are in the title picture and are hardly getting praised because the TNA Haters continue to belittle the company instead of praising them when they rightfully deserve it. Desmond fucking Wolfe is perhaps the best newcomer this year (way better then Sheamus) and I seriously fucking doubt that WWE would have treated him better. His ass would be in ECW at this moment had he joined WWE. Probably jobbing to the fucking Hurricane. What did TNA do? They hired him and he debuted and went directly for Kurt Angle and he hasn’t missed a beat since. But ZOMG TNA IZ SHITTEH!!!!

The tag team scene, actual tag teams are tag team champions not 40 year old has beens that tell people to suck it (DX anyone?)

The Womens Division ( Not as great as it once was but actual talent hold the gold and the matches mean something, they get promo time, the weak b****** rarely get ring time)

TNA has crappy booking and huge wtf moments like (Rob Terry getting a X Division title shot) but at the end of the day, I will watch TNA all the way through without losing interest.

Oh and they have 1 million viewers right? That’s a huge step from back when they used to be on weekly PPV’s and used to come on at 3pm a few years ago. TNA is not going to become some fantastic company overnight but ya know what? WWE is far from fantastic these days. The product fucking sucks, they get the highest ratings out of habit. Its hard to not tune into RAW but soon there will be a alternative and that will be TNA.

PostSubject: Re: TNA iMPACT! Continues To Struggle   TNA iMPACT! Continues To Struggle EmptyTue 22 Dec 2009, 11:18 pm

for tna to draw higher ratings they need to use hogan, nash, hall, kurt angle names to draw ratings cause they casual fan and old school fans will turn in for hogan. as much as I know people don't like him he is one of the most recongized wrestlers in the world. I know old ladies who never watched wrestling ever and know who Hulk Hogan is.

Personally I dislike Aj Styles and don't think Chris Daniels is world title champion. Dixie Carter already sort of realized that for tna to win and push wwe they need superstars that been establish and people know.

If Hulk Hogan walked down a street people would notice him. If Aj Styles walked down the street maybe a few people would notice him.

People might not like it but if your trying to get ratings you go with Hogan.

fucking mark alert right here

OMG, TNA doing the same thing WCW did is awesome! lets put all these washed up guys that used to be in WWE, in the fucking main event and half our own talent be delegated to the fucking mid card. GOOD CALL BLUE. i got a idea...lets get Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair...and anyone else that wasnt worth it in WWE over the years...and lets bring them to TNA...hell for shits and giggles lets call Scott Hall and X-Pac up and tease yet ANOTHER nWo reunion. oh i know, lets give a guy whos got very shitty knees in his 40s and is one step away from ending his career, a tag title shot from a battle royal. oh i know, lets totally do the WWE legend killer thing, but instead of having the legends job....lets have all the ex WWE guys beat a talented X Division star in Jay Lethal, mind you he still has the stupid Macho Man gimmick, but yet TNA is so much better

its AMAZING how you act like youve heard about Desmond Wolfe (the mans real fucking wrestling name is Nigel McGuinness) for years and how hes better than Sheamus....yet you had no fucking clue who the hell he was prior to TNA, yet he was putting on 5 star matches in ROH, but then again that doesnt matter because the indies are shit to you and you're too ignorant to watch

TNA has had crappy booking for YEARS, dating back to 2007. everyones been on TNAs ass to fire Vince Russo but it hasnt happened yet

newsflash....the weekly ppvs were 5 YEARS AGO. and Impact came on at the same time EVERY thursday since 2005 which is 9 PM EST...and theyve had the same ratings ever since theyve gone to 2 hours which was back in 2006. so yeah, constantly getting the same ratings for the past 3 fucking years, means the product is just so totally amazing. the product is garbage, hence why ppl are turning it off before it even fucking ends, you just dont turn it off because theres nothing else to watch on a thursday night at the 10:30 time slot

overall, you're a TNA fanboy/mark, plain and simple...regardless of you say you arent or not, that post you just did defending them to no end confirms it

WCW is dead, kaput, why keep bringing it up? That argument is fucking lame! TNA pushing washed up guys? REALLY???? Who? Are you confusing them with WWE? DX are the washed up old fuckers still in the main event scene, Taker surely can't wrestle as he used to. Time for NEW STARS!!!!! TNA is bringing in washed up guys so that the ratings can increase. Hogan is a huge fucking name and he too cant hardly wrestle so he wont be burying anyone anytime soon. Half the talent delagated to the midcard? Whom? AJ n Daniels have been headlining the PPV's for months so wtf are you talking about? The right guys are being pushed!

How I heard about Desmond Wolfe is moot, why? Because as soon as he stepped foot in TNA I became interested in what he has to offer, your favorite company WWE (The shitty one at that) would not have pushed him like the way he currently is, you can take that shit to the bank. I’m not ignorant when it comes to the indies either, if and when I have time I’ll get my ass on youtube and watch it. There is no need to rush, the matches would still be there.

If it makes me a mark, fanboy because I prefer TNA to shitty ass WWE then so fucking be it!

so i guess writing more than 3 sentences annoys you ey? lol, anyway i wasnt writing a book, i was stating the blatent obvious. TNA is doing the same exact same shit WCW did, and look at what happened to WCW. WCW was the alternate to WWE, and it died a slow, painful death. TNA continues down that path, i see the same thing happening

seriously? that argument is fucking lame? why, because its the god damn truth? for those who dont know...before WCW was beating WWE in the ratings war...all they fucking did was sign every exWWE guy that came onto the street, EVERY last single one of them. didnt matter who it was, what they did in WWE, the point is they were in WWE so OMGZ WE GOTTA SIGN EM. TNA has at least signed EVERY exWWE guy as soon as theyve left that company since 2004. the comparisons to WCW are constantly being thrown around, because everyone whos watched wrestling before 2002 (not counting you, seeing you didnt even know when Goldberg showed up), are seeing the pattern. Daniels has been headlining PPVs for 2 fucking months, and his push is about to end...because why? either Kurt Angle or Lashley is about to get a title match...and hey...look where they came from...WWE! about the talent being midcard lol...i got it..lets put Joe in a battle royal to see if hes lucky enough to get a case with a World title shot in it, or lets have the Machine Guns be the only good talented team in TNA besides Beer Money, to never get a title push because theyd rather have the titles on the sorry ass British Invasion. lets have Jay Lethal job to guys like Jim Neidhart and Tatanka (both WWE guys mind you) when the guy is potentially main event material. lets have Matt Morgan and Hernandez be in a fucking feud with Rhino and Jesse Neal lmfao...yeah...thats pushing their stars. the ratings have fucking plummeted ever since Angles been there, the highest theyve ever gotten was a 1.4 i do believe, theyve never reached the midway point, so bringing in all these guys we DONT want to see again isnt going to help

lmao, you just proved my point. you only became interested when he got into TNA, and didnt care what he did in ROH, thats fucking ignorant. you even said you dont give a shit about the indies, so why am i to believe you're gonna waste your time searching for ROH matches when i know you arent gonna watch them?

TNA iMPACT! Continues To Struggle Empty
PostSubject: Re: TNA iMPACT! Continues To Struggle   TNA iMPACT! Continues To Struggle EmptyWed 23 Dec 2009, 10:27 am

CP is correct. absolute
X devison was what made TNA popular with the more indy based fans, but there is a big reason why WWE have the success that these Indies and TNA dont, and thats beacuse North American fans, UK fans and the fans around the world like to watch big guys, brawl beat the shit out of eachother, rather then watch most matches involving small guys who show a great deal of athleticsm, but the reversals and high flying moves can only get so many wows out of one fan.
you will always have die hard X devisons, Crusiweight fans, but the fact is, that isnt what made wrestling popular, hence a reason why the CW devision was dropped, because there was not a single CW superstar other then Rey *whowas already moved up to World league*, that could pull in ratings, get reactions and sell merchandize.
as CP said, Hogan is a world name, and like he said, ppl who dont even watch wrestling know who he is, i was watching a brittish sitcom from the early ninties about some middle class family, who stereotypically arent eh sort of ppl who would watch wrestling, yet the mother mentioned something about "shopping be so heavy it would give Hulk Hogan a hernia", that little comment got some big laughs, and i highly doubt that a live crowd of about 2-300 would all be wrestling fans
now in a brittish sitcom from today would use the same joke but replace Hogan with AJ Styles, ppl would most likley be like wtf? you may have 2 or 3 from the 300 strong crowd who would get it, but even know if they said Hogan id geuss at least a third would understand the joke, so with a 30% difference, shows immediatly that the best way for them to go is with the bigger names, the problem for them is, that i doubt they will have the money, and even with the big names, i dont think they will get enough ratings to be able to continue to pay top ppl like Hogan, Nash, Steiner, Lashley and Angle etc
