Do you guys like the Debate?

So, I've made a few debates, just to get your feet wet. I think there a good Idea. I would like to run a sub-Forum that is just for Debates. We could set of Debate Teams and stuff. It would be fun.


So what do you say/

I said that I would do it.

we could have two captains. trust me I did it on XWA, but Digg deleted it because it was inactive for 2 days.

we had this as a sub forum before..it was the World Issues subforum..it died which is why it is gone now. i think it will die again if created.

and no i have no interest in a debate league, sorry.

i know it's my opinion. i'm the one who posted it and i never said my word is law.

and World Issues is the same thing..abortion and same sex marriage are topics that affect everyone in the world.

so yeah it's basically the same thing.

Yeah, but that section wasn't active at all. This would be set up different. That section just got ignored. We allready have more post in the Debate topics I made, then that section had the whole time.

Besides, my debates will allways have a story behind them, and Debate Points, or questions people answer durring the debate.

If it does fail, Blue can just delete it, no harm done.

Oh yea that died for sho, we can just use General Chat and if its a success, maybe we'll work something out Joe

but it's essentially the same thing. the World Issues forum had the exact same topics in it as you have posted. they all died out and then the forum itself died.

why not just leave these topics in the General Chat section? they arent even 2 pages yet so you dont know how successful they will be. if it becomes a hot topic then yeah maybe getting a subforum would be better.

Because I think it will fail. Why are you so quick to try and take over this damn forum? Yeah I know what you're doing, Joe and it's rather annoying.

like I said, your topics havent even reached 2 pages yet so I think they are fine where they are. considering General chat itself isnt that active lately. I dont see the point of making a whole new subforum for 2 or 3 threads.

i keep moving topics from here to general wrestling section. lol

joe, i was thinkiing of doing the same thing but u beat me to it. ijust think u need to find some topics that has a clear pros/cons.

btw, if the section doesnt get active...itll just be deleted. its not that big of a deal. we still have that stupid tournament board up and when it wasnt really needed to begin with
