The ones ones I'm sure of is swimming, volleyball, football, and soccer. My high school is so underfunded and ghetto that we can't afford coaches half the time. They stopped cheerleading and a few other things because of that.

After they got rid of the cheerleading team at my school the Step team got a whole lot more popular. It's just a bunch of chicks doing some fancy feet movements to some music.

I consider it a sport after attending numerous competition with my friend Tinkerbell (a nickname I gave her in high school) The team she was with did basically gymnastics. Most of their routines was flips and backflips...very little dancing.

on a college tour of some southern colleges we saw a few routines from their step teams. that was fun.
