Why WWE Called Serena Up

One of the reasons Serena Deeb was brought up to WWE's main roster is because she was the only woman in developmental that was willing to get her head shaved for the storyline with CM Punk. Some of the Divas in FCW who turned the opportunity down did themselves no favors.

Well, she's playing her role well, she, looks good as hell even without her hair, I love her attire (shows off that figure :P) and I can't wait to see her in action kickin' those deevers' asses.

i doubt she'll be wrestling anytime soon. She looks to be in the Nattie role..valet/manager only.

Having said that, she has already grown on me so I'd like to see how she is in the ring.

Im glad she got called up. Her willing to get her head shaved shows me that she really wants this. I hope for good things in her future with WWE.

I liked her from the very first time I saw her. She was playing her role well right from jump... plus as I've already mentioned... the girl is fine! :p

She has really nice curves. I love that she has an actual body and isn't deathly skinny like a lot of the other chicks.

Yeah. Hopefully that will be a trend that will develop, and we'll see more women alike her, Layla, Mickie and Beth.

It wasn't all that long ago that Tara was there as well as Molly, two women who weren't rail thin and had in-ring ability.

LMAO You are one funny ass dude, LL. I think the walk is sexy, just WAY over the top. lol Most of the Divas' walks are over the top, though. I'm gonna have to go with Beth's bc it's simple and she doesn't do anything to show off her body, it's just there. Then once she gets in the reing, she dominates like Ezekiel Jackson.

The fact that Serena agreed to shave her head for WWE Speaks volumes of just how much this girl wants this, the other chicks down in FCW outta be ashamed of themselves because right now they would have had Serena's role and it pisses me off that WWE basically asked other girls before Serena


Let me be the first to say that I think Serena looks alot better with less hair, she is one of my faves and it hasn't even been a month yet

I find this whole situation funny.

WWE loves their models and hand these chicks fat contracts when most know little about wrestling, don't care about wrestling, and pay so little attention that the RAW roster is full of girls who can't do a proper dropkick. So now the WWE goes to these models who that gave the chance that thousands of girls would kill for and asks them to make a sacrifice like cutting their hair for an angle that would put them on national television with the biggest heel on Smackdown, those chicks tell them to take a hike; after all, they'll need their hair for their next photoshoot!

Then you have Serena a chick who loves wrestling, busted her ass on the indies, can put on a good match, and actually changed her looks for a mere development contract. When approached, she's more than willing to shave her hair for a chance at her dream. So now she's on Smackdown aligned with the top heel stable and thanks to her shaved head she has unique look that allows her stands out among the pack.

I hope this serves as a lesson to the WWE as to why they should hire female wrestlers, rather than models; because they're the ones that are willing to take risks and know to snatch up a great angle when it's offered to them on a silver plate. But knowing the WWE; when the reports come out about the latest diva signed, you know it's going to be some model.

Very well said, capitol L! This goes to the point that people have been trying to say for a while now: there are talented women out there who are also beautiful, and Serena is an example of that.

Most turned it down because SES is probably gonna be disband after mania.

They will shave Punk bald.

Then Punk will eventually go to focus world title

Those 2 will be forgotten and move around.

Honestly it might of been a move that hurts her career cause now she is always gonna be linked to punk and known as the girl who shaved her head. Which is gonna make her hard to sell as anything after this. I am in a group who wouldn't shave my hair for the damn wwe if I am talented enough I will make it up I don't need to depend on a cheap stunt like shaving my head to get on tv.

And she could very well be the next Moolah if given the time to shine and the right push, besides look at the other girls who have been brought into the WWE. Melina was once the manager of MNM, Michelle had her Teacher's Pets, Mickie was a psycho stalker, Alicia the dancing valet of DJ Gabriel, and Maryse was nothing more than the half naked chick who would great people after commercial breaks. These women had no problem with not letting their gimmicks when they first came in define them as who they are now; I honestly don't think Serena will have that problem either.

The truth is, she's talented enough to get on TV, the problem is that the WWE is so focus on shoving models that can't wrestle down our throats that a talented female wrestler HAS to resort to stunts like this to get their time to shine.
