RAW Divas Discussion Thread, April 12th

CHALLENGER'S EVE-NING?
After Eve's triumphant display in a Red Carpet "Dress to Impress" Battle Royal, the talented maiden heads into the next Monday Night Raw to battle Divas Champion Maryse for the coveted title.

Eve should win the diva title on raw this week and Maryse need to be move back to smackdown in the draft.

I'm all for that Morris. Eve will be a new champ and she can grow as a champion (Like Trish did) besides Katie, Jillian and Alicia can carry her into some decent title matches, I'm about fed up with Maryse so shipping her back to SD will be a amazing change of pace.

Agreed. I hope Eve wins and Maryse stays put on Raw. I mean Maryse is getting pushed just fine on Raw so why move her? Move someone who can benefit from a move. The SD division is doing GREAT without her in it.

But I know Maryse is going to win and they will probably wait for Melina. Though Melina should be on SD.

LOL Shes being pushed and booked well now. I just dont want her near the womens title, I feel she isnt ready for it yet. There are others who should get it first. No its not becasue I dislike her. I think shes winning Monday. I dont see her losing the Divas title yet. She should be competing for the divas title, its the lesser title. lol and She always annoyed me even when she was on SD.

I really don't know. I could see Eve winning, but then again, I could see Maryse winning. At least, there's no guarantee of a winner, which is always a good thing for me.

Regardless of who wins, I won't treat it like's the end of the world...like OTHERS I know. Just saying...

I do have a soft spot for Eve, though. But that's just me.

WWE already had a chance to make Eve the number 1 contender when she beat Maryse cleanly before, so why a Battle Royal? Unless they want her to become the next champ? Same happened with Maryse except it was a tournament.

and i wasnt talking about Eve stinking up the devision, i was on about Maryse stinking up SD. Both stink up Raw anyway, along with Kelly, Rosa, Bellas.....so ya know, hence why i dont give a shit for that devision. until divas like Jillian, Gail and Katie..and Alicia sometimes...get a push and get the title, and feud with one another ie Gail as champ feud with Katie....i wont give a shit for Raws devision......that or if Layla, Beth or Michelle went to Raw...because they are threee of my favs

i want Eve to win. she's someone new and she might get over if she beats Maryse. i know it's a longshot but Maryse is French Canadian and you know how the English dislike the French so maybe they'll have the French heel lose in London. the match better be long though. at least five minutes if not more. i wished them both luck on twitter anyway and asked Maryse to use her figure 4 and Eve her handspring splash

Both of them suck so I don't even care who wins. I'm still thinking Maryse will retain. There's no buildup to this feud or anything, Eve is mainly filler for Maryse til Melina returns, Kelly/Gail will probably be next.

I'm hoping these two can pull out a decent match. They are both decent-ish (i say this loosely). We have seen Maryse wrestle on a decent level before and we have seen Eve do ok-ish. So let's hope it is something just plain bad atleast and not horrible.

Who ever books matches on Raw has serious Issue's booking anyone by their strenghts when booking matches, soo we'll have to take what we get.

Seriously whoever books matches on Raw male or female matches has issue's it usually the same formula, same format and hardly pays any attention to the superstars strenghts and weaknesses.

Drew McIntyre could be boring as hell, but you can't deny his matches has been solid, clean and slightly entertaining, you'd much rather see him wrestle then hear him speak.

I dont want Eve to win, she is so boring and I dont think she should win the divas title yet. I feel she isnt ready for the title and mabye in a few months, however Maryse has only just won it so I think Maryse will retain.


I hope the match is more than 3mins long and that Maryse acutally wrestles.

Eve needs to learn how to connect a dropkick before she becomes the champion. She should also get a little reaction as well so the crowd can at least give a little shit about her instead of saying "Who is that?"

I think Maryse is retaining, In a way I Kinda hope she does so she wont be moved to SD where the womens title is, she needs to be competing for the Divas title. IMO shes not excatly ready for the womens title. I always felt the womens title should be for the better workers.

Best thing Eve has going for her is her legs... deffo not her wrestling ability. Like LH and Mintz both said, she's boring and can't even connect on a dropkick. Sorry, Eve! *Keep wearing those short shorts, though*

They could always switch the champs again, have Vickie be in control of drafting Michelle to Raw to get her away from Beth then Melina returns and gets the belt. Michelle could always go back to SD in the same year but that would leave Beth getting that divas title so scratch that!

There is also another divas match, it says Triple Threat so I think we might get Kelly Kelly vs Gail vs Alicia in a Swimsuit match or something like that....

Eve vs Maryse was actually decent, no botches and Maryse had her best match since moving to Raw, funny how she is good right when she loses the strap :lol: I wanted Eve to bitchslap her though, they both looked gorgeous and Eve took a nice bump missing the moonsault, Maryse must be smoking that good shit because her laughing was hilarious :lol: Right when shit started getting good Eve won, oh wellz new champion! The match was alright. I loved the neckbreaker Eve did and that counter was pretty cool.

I LOVED Maryse's laugh it was creepy but great all at the same time, and I thought Eve's moonsault was great!

So should I watch it for Maryse's creepy laugh? That seriously seems like the only entertaining thing to happen during the match. Also, she actually won with a rollup?

It was a cool little roll up, something that can catch anyone off guard and it did to Maryse who took to long to pin Eve.

For sure! That roll up was very good and it shouldn't take much to beat Maryse..

It made sense when Mickie shocked the world by pinning Beth with a rollup because Beth was dominant but it doesn't make much sense for Eve to do the same. I actually wish Kelly had gotten the belt instead. If you wanted a flashy champion it could've been her, at least she doesn't botch dropkicks

That's what she's talking about. If Eve had a long buildup the crowd would've gotten more into her and her moment with the belt would've been even better but the booking is so stupid so that shit rarely happens.

Eve vs Maryse was quite good, Eve got no reaction from the crowd when she won, which shows you something. I liked Maryse's attire, she looked hot. I still dont think WWE should have given Eve the title she isnt ready yet, the match was good however it could have been longer.

The triple threat Swimsuit match was good, Kelly just done her usual moves, Rosa was ok, Jillian had to job to The Bella Twins, Gail Kim was good in this match her clothesline to Jillian was good

I hope next week we get Eve,Gail Kim and Kelly Kelly vs Jillian,Rosa Mendez and Maryse and Maryse pins Eve

Michelle got no reaction when she became Divas Champ and look at her now<333

not exactly true is it? theres more chance of Maryse getting it back and losing it to Melina then those three getting it. that or Maryse will go SD and LayCool will go raw, which would mean wed be stuck with Eve v Michelle and Beth v Maryse
