- The second season of Glee is scheduled to begin in September 2010, initially airing in the 8/7c timeslot on Tuesdays. A special episode will air after Super Bowl XLV on February 6, 2011, and the show will then make its spring premiere on Wednesdays at 9/8c, following American Idol.[ The series producers are in talks with Fox to extend the length of the season to 25 episodes, rather than the customary 22.
