Knockouts on PPV each year: 2007

i'm starting here because this is when the division actually got good.

Lockdown - Gail Kim vs Jacqueline (Cage match):
it's a little weird seeing this feud now since when they were in WWE, Gail was the heel and Jackie the face but it's better this way. they start out with a catfight in the aisle even brawling on the announce table, Jackie pours water on Gail which was apparently going too far. once inside Gail gets a spinning headscissors and dropkick, following up with a top rope arm drag. Jackie drops Gail on the ropes and lands a release German suplex. she tries to go out but Gail pulls her in and Jackie drops her into the middle turnbuckle before choking her at the ropes. she flips Gail over and tries to climb out. Gail tries a diving sunset flip but Jackie counters into a pin holding onto the ropes. Gail rolls through but Jackie gets a hairmare before locking in a sleeperhold. Jackie reverses a body slam and shoves Gail into the steel. Gail gains momentum with clotheslines and scoop slam. She lands a missile dropkick for two and tries to escape. Jackie pulls her back and Gail slams the door on her. she goes up top and lands a crossbody from off the cage for the win. great match although they could have used the cage a bit more. 7/10

Bound For Glory - Gauntlet match to determine first Knockouts champion:
it's a bit misleading to call this a gauntlet since it's battle royal rules, actually we have a bit of a mini Royal Rumble going on here. first entrants are Jacqueline and Ms Brooks. the girls go at it and Jackie takes control with a spinning heel kick and German suplex. the next entrant - Shelly Martinez runs down and gets a reverse DDT on Brooks. Brooks lands a diving body press on Martinez and the next entrant is Awesome Kong - oh dear. all three girls go for Kong who takes so long to walk to the ring that the next entrant - ODB is ready. Kong tosses Martinez out and Jackie eliminates Brooks. Kong gets an implant buster on Jackie and throws her out. ODB finally enters and Angelina Love is the next entrant. she mounts Kong with a sleeper but Kong fights both of them off. Angelina connects with an enziguri and Kong reverses a double suplex into one of her own and Christy Hemme is the next entrant. she's a bit reluctant but Kong drags her in and locks in a bow and arrow across the shoulders and plants her with an Awesome Bomb. the officials say she cannot continue and Gail Kim is next in the match. she immediately blindsides Kong with a missile dropkick and starts hammering at her. Angelina and ODB are dominated by Kong, Gail goes for a hurricanrana and ODB and Angelina help to all toss Kong over the top rope. Talia Madsen runs down and goes for all three ladies. Angelina is flipped to the outer apron and gets a jawbreaker on Talia with the ropes. ODB and Gail knock her off and the final entrant - Roxxi Laveaux - makes her way to the ring. ODB knocks her down and Gail flips Talia over the top. Roxxi tosses ODB out and it's a normal match starting.
Roxxi starts off with a fallaway power slam for two. Gail locks in Christo but Roxxi gets to the ropes. Gail goes up top and misses a missile dropkick. Roxxi goes for a gory bomb but Gail reverses into a rollup. Roxxi counters a hurricanrana into a powerbomb with a bridge pin for two. Gail plants her with a Samoan driver for three and Gail is the first ever TNA Knockouts champion! enjoyable match although the finish was a bit weak. 6/10

Genesis - Gail Kim* vs Roxxi Laveaux vs ODB vs Angelina Love (KO title match):
Roxxi has the knockoffs of the New Age Outlaws down at the ring with her. Gail gives a great speech on how she wants to bring women's wrestling to wher it needs to be. i'm still not sure if ODB is face or heel. Gail tosses Angelina outside and knocks Roxxi and ODB together. she spears ODB in the corner and shoves Roxxi into her. Roxxi is dropped with a faceplant and Billy Gunn puts Roxxi's foot on the ropes. the VKM are ejected for interfering and Roxx draws an X on the ref's forehead. Gail gets a double dropkick on Roxxi and ODB. Angelina pulls her outside and whips her into the turnbuckle. Roxxi holds Angelina on the ropes so ODB can spank her. ODB spanks the ref and Roxxi who mocks her. ODB grabs her by the hair and gives a sort of reverse bronco buster. Gail comes back and gets an enziguri, going up top and body blocks Roxxi on the outside. inside hairmare and neck snap by Angelina followed up with a running dropkick for two. Angelina reverses a backslide into a DDT for two. Angelina goes up top but the result is a tower of doom involving Roxxi and ODB as well. Gail returns to the fray with a missile dropkick on Roxxi leaving all four women lying on the mat. Gail goes to town on Roxxi and lands a sit down press from the top rope but ODB breaks the pin. sidewalk slam by ODB but Angelina breaks the pin. ODB tosses her out and Roxxi rakes the eyes. Gail drops her with the Happy Ending for three. great match. 7/10

Turning Point - Roxxi Laveaux & ODB vs Velvet-Love Entertainment:
ok i guess ODB is a heel then and whoa Velvet Sky actually used to be hot. their entrance works as a face tandem. Angelina and Roxxi start off and Angelina gets a snapmare-dropkick combo for two. Velvet tags in and they get a double hip toss before doing Candice's Go Daddy dance and a double elbow drop. ODB tags in to a good pop and Velvet mocks her but gets spanked. dropkick from Velvet and she rides ODB like a dog and gives her a wedgie. ODB orders the ref to fix the problem and when he feels her but she goes for his pants. Velvet rolls ODB up for two and Roxxi tags in. Roxxi whips Velvet into the corner and chokes her. spinebuster by Roxxi and Velvet gets put into the tree of woe. ODB tags in and does a bronco buster. Roxxi tags back in and Velvet sends her into ODB's crotch. Angelina tags in and gets a flying clothesline and running knee to the head. she drops ODB with an atomic drop. Roxxi goes for a backbreaker but Angelina counters into a spinning headscissors. Angelina gets a jawbreaker and neckbreaker but Roxxi breaks the pin. Angelina and Velvet whip the girls into each other and Velvet holds Roxxi so Angelina can get a running dropkick for the win. an extra point for comedic value. 7/10

Gail Kim* vs Awesome Kong (KO title match):
they started off with a ringside brawl. Gail was slammed into the ring barrier and Kong ran into a the ring post. they finally made it to the ring and Gail went right to work on the arm, snapping it down and backwards. Kong whipped Gail in the corner but missed a running charge. Kong locked on a camel clutchamd picked up Gail by the throat and slammed her down, then stepped on her. Gail pulled backwards over the ropes with an armbar, breaking it before a five. Kong went for a powerbomb but Gail rolled through with an attempted sunset flip. Kong brushed her off and missed a discus punch. Gail landed two missile dropkicks and a back senton off the top rope for two. Kong nailed a spinning back fist and began drilling Gail in the corner with a series of knees to the face. She shoved the referee and began choking Gail with a boot across the throat. Kong piefaced the referee down when he broke it up and called for the bell. Gail wins by DQ and Kong is not pleased, destroying everyone. Velvet and Angelina ran down to help but got destroyed. Kong planted Gail with a powerbomb and choked her. good match. 7/10
