Bryan Danielson Release Discussion Thread HUGE UPDATE!!!!!!

We are gonna try to redo this and hopefully it will stay peaceful and civil

Desmond Wolfe is being booked well despite the Hogan era so who knows?

I think he got a better shot of main eventing in tna especially coming off this wwe firing.

You know at first I would side 100% with him. Triple H needs to GTFO. Even when his not on TV he still has to put people down. Sure, stop the angle, but he had no right to get Brian fired because of it, as it was WWE who chose the angle not Brian.

And secondly, hearing that he spat on Eve Torres....A woman, and a fellow employee makes me sick and leaves no respect for him. You can't spit on Triple H, but you spit on a girl? No..Just no. He can go back to the indies where his ugliness is wanted.

That whole spitting story is just a story that some fan made up to be funny.

When the story first broke that someone high up in the company was behind the firing, people joked that it was probably HHH and some fan wrote that whole fake news story about HHH and Eve to be funny.

Dave Meltzer said the real reason as to why he was fired is unbelievably crazy and promised to update on it, but so far he's given no real news. As of Friday, the general belief as to why he was fired, was because of the choking incident with Justin Roberts. So far the rumors to why he's fired that are currently in the running is:

He wasn't suppose to attack Justin Roberts at all.

He was fired because the spot with Roberts was planned, but the choking wasn't.

He was fired because Mattel or another sponsor did not like the choking spot and felt that some child might copy it; so they threaten to pull sponsorship cash away from the WWE.

He was fired because someone from Linda's campaign thought that the tie choking spot could be used against her and her senate campaign.

I really wish someone would come out with the real reason why he was fired so everyone can end all the speculations.

lol so because he's ugly is why you don't think highly of him...what a way to hate a wrestler lol. Also, good to know that you believed the part about his 4 year old kid being up at 11 at night and busting out in tears, thus ruining HHH's weekend lmao

He just recently changed his twitter to his real name. This is a work to
repackage him as Bryan Danielson and erase the memories of Daniel
Bryan.

If somehow it isn't, it's incredibly stupid that the E
would release him immediately after the well received NXT invasion
angle. If he's gone, the angle is dead.

everyones thinking its a work, news sites are reporting it isnt...we dont know what to believe

WWE reported both his real name and his in ring name when they fired him..

so...they cant repackage him now.... atleast not anytime soon.


and if the Justin Roberts incident is the reason..why not just suspend him? why did he have to be completely fired?

The Wrestling Observer is reporting that Bryan Danielson, aka Daniel Bryan, is seeking independent bookings. He apparently was given the impression that the sides could do business again somewhere down the road.

An update on Daniel Bryan's firing: it was due to pressure from an outside source following Monday night's angle. The choking with the tie and spitting in John Cena's face were the two main sticking points, and Vince McMahon is said to have had no choice. It is almost a guarantee that this is not a work, since that would mean WWE had lied to everyone with any power in WWE. They have all been told that Daniel Bryan is gone for real.

It seems very clear that Bryan is being used as a scapegoat. It also appears to me that someone from the outside (not WWE management) was the one who threw a fit and WWE had no choice but to fire him for now.

To recap, here are the key bullet points:


The Justin Roberts spot was deemed too violent and it led to the firing, in a call made by Vince, but forced upon him by an "outside force who is important"


Complaints came in very quickly.


The decision was explained to the merchandise and marketing people, PR team, company doctor before it was announced that it was a legit firing.


The person who complained was someone from the "outside, important to the company"


Danielson is being called a "scapegoat"


No timetable has been given, but he was said to be left with the impression that he would be welcomed back at a later time once things pass over.


Danielson is now looking for indy dates.


Danielson has a 90 day no-compete clause.


With respect to the possibility of Vince working his own employees, he's definitely capable of it, and a much more "insane" situation is currently going on with a much bigger name than Danielson in WWE right now.


Sources in WWE believe they will lose him to TNA, Once source said they just "made a TNA main eventer"

Well thats part of it, but its not the reason. I just don't like his character/doesn't look like a top wrestling superstar in the WWE. He may be good, but he doesn't have the look to me.

And I was up at 11 watching wrestling back in the day ty -_-

I still find it funny that WWE fired him for choking a guy, but they rammed Bret from pilar to post in the back of the limo as if that was nothing...
