ABC has hired a litigator in response to the pending harassment lawsuit filed by former Desperate Housewives Star Nicollette Sheridan, according to The Hollywood Reporter. In April, Sheridan sued Housewives creator Marc Cherry and ABC for $20 million, claiming that physical and emotional abuse led to her eventual departure from the series. ABC’s new legal help has already served Sheridan with requests for private documents related to the case and is seeking to take her deposition as soon as possible. “We intend to delve into the merits of her claims, all of which we strenuously dispute,” attorney Adam Levin told HR.
