'Jurassic Park'-esque Terror in Game Show Thriller 'Fragment'

Lloyd Levin (Predator 2, Dire Hard 2, The Green Zone, United 93) is set to produce the bigscreen adaptation of Warren Fahy's bestseller Fragment, about a reality show that discovers a host of terrifying new species of animals on a remote South Pacific island. Fahy, whose tome was the subject of a bidding war at the London Book Fair, will pen the screenplay. In "Fragment," a team of seafaring scientists filming a reality TV show are astonished to encounter the species, which has been evolving in isolation for 600 million years. The encounter is caught on live TV. When NASA and the Navy arrive to investigate, scientists realize that the creatures and their ecosystem are lethal enough to wipe out the rest of the Earth. Authorities must decide whether to sterilize the island or try to save the terrible creatures.

What'w with that A Jurassic Park for the Lost generation crap?

What exactly does that mean? That this is just as good as Jurassic Park or that people born from 2000 on aren't smart enough to enjoy Jurassic Park?

im guessing its gonna be like a Jurassic Park type movie for this current decade

Maybe it'll be a Jurassic Park type movie with a more Lost-like theme: stranded on an island somewhere with no contact with the outside world.

Well part of the plot is that it was filmed for live tv....so the outside world watched what happened
