i think his rap gimmick would've gotten old and WWE would've cut him loose..never realizing he has a cult-like following if given the chance.

LMAO I wasn't wasn't watching a lot inearly 2002. He and Orton both debuted as theirselves in April and May, so what month did he debut as Prototype?

Very SLOWLY they're building up other stars, so I think by the time he, HHH and Orton are gone; they should have some other reliable people.

He would be like a 10 time U.S Champ lol...But theres NO WAY he wouldnt have won the title.

I just think WWE is not doing good buliding people up.

and i mean bringing someone in had thay work there way through the ranks.

like they first come in and they win a few matchs than they have that person win a title like the Ic or US title or the Tag team title start.

all the guys that are main eventers that are new either came in and where main eventers right away or have been there a long time.

He would've been on top of the midcard, there was no way they were going to push like they wound up doing but the rapper gimmick caught on...but ironically as soon as he blew up, it was GONE and then he was revealed to the general public (primarily due to the feud with HHH and Edge): a solely midcard talent placed in a main event position like Jeff Jarrett and just like Jarrett, by the time they realized it.....TOO LATE

He was ay his peak then. He's done nothing special since 2005 that has had me on the edge of my seat... except knowing he's lost his title to someone. lol

I think they do.

Rock and Austin were their guys and Cena became their guy a few years later.

but look how they downgraded from Stone Cold and The Rock to Cena.

I dont see any guys they have now that can be the Face of the WWE, that we know that can be the face but they will never give the chance.

CM Punk could be the guy i think but they dont want to give him a chance anymore it looks like.

yea, it looked like they were going to give him that push to be one of the top guys when he won MITB, but than they stopped that quick.

I really hope they give him a push to be the top Heel in the future, i really like him as a heel.

It didn't happen over night, just like it didn't happen overnight with Hogan to Austin. Yeah, Bret and HBK were there, but they weren't nearly as popular as what Rock and Austin became in and outside of WWE. That's my point, it will happen eventually.

Well, by the time they decide that not putting the title on him would be a good idea, he'll be near retirement age. After a huge WM Display (trust me, they will retire him at 'Mania) showcasing his career as "Da best wrestler EVAR!" John Cena will work at WWE headquarters and come back to the ring every now and then.

i do see them doing that, having him retire at WM.

he will comeback now and then after he retires because Vince likes him and cena likes Vince. very rare a wrestler likes Vince.
