It's been a year.......wow

Well for some reason i always thought it was the 18th, but turns out, August 14th marks the first my one year anniversary here in Holland.

It's been exactly one year that i've seen my parents and my brother in person.
It's been a year since i've seen my grandmothers and my little cousins in person
It's been a year since i've had to clean up after those dogs and bath them.
It's been a year since i've tasted my mothers cooking.
It's been a year since i slept in my own bed, my Room.
It's been a year since i've been away.

Although i miss all these things, this year has been a life changing experience, a phase in my life where i grew up and took care of myself, through sickness and near being dead broke, to just living.

I've learned a whole lot about myself and i have no regrets what so ever.

It's gonna be a few months until my brother comes to visit for christmas and 10 more months until i could see my mom in person again. Teary Eyed

Guess that's all folks lol.

Yups been away from home this long. it's not easy to just go home quick and back when it's a 9 hour plane ride away and about 1000 Euro's. So i'm really looking forward to going home and seeing my parents again after almost two years.

When i left, many doubted in me, thinking i would be back within 3 months and here i am, 1 year later, still surviving lol hilarious
