Major Fight At WWE Live Event + Orton Injury Update

As noted earlier tonight here on the website, Randy Orton was dealing with a sore neck and shoulder following Saturday night's RAW live event in Wildwood, New Jersey, where he faced Sheamus in a Lumberjack Match with Nexus. He was therefore placed in a Six-Man Tag Team Match at Sunday's RAW live event in Newark, New Jersey so he could have a lighter workload.

The advertised main event was a Steel Cage Match between Orton and Sheamus, while John Cena was scheduled for a Six-Man Tag Team Match against Nexus. An angle was conducted at the beginning of the show where Sheamus attacked Cena and Nexus attacked Chris Jericho, leading Orton and Daniel Bryan to perform a run-in.

Orton sparingly wrestled during the match and did not perform the RKO. He did, however, strike Michael Tarver with a punt to the head in the aftermath of the bout.

Orton's injury is not immediately being considered serious, but he will likely have it checked out before RAW this week in Boston, MA. Story developing..... stay tuned!

According to a fan who witnessed the incident, the melee lasted approximately 15 minutes before Prudential Center staff broke it up. The correspondent also noted that over 10 people were ejected from the arena and some children were hurt during the brawl. Really.

Those who were fighting with those shirts deserve kicks to the head...no I'm not kidding....I'm the European Champion for LL's sake.

This shit seriously doesn't surpise me anymore. Why have a brawl over a stupid t-shirt? Why not just punt a child in the skull, and rips his out of his hands and take it? Its the exact same thing as what they do in context.

These merchandise give a ways should be for the children. Although I'd love a T shirt, I'd let a young kid get it over me because they love those things. Some people are so damn inconsiderate.

I wanted a DX, Stone Cold and HHH t-shirt during the attitude era; plus the Rock's elbow pads and sweat suit... and a pair of Bret Hart's shades. A pair of patent leather wrestling boots damn sure would've worked well too.

I wanted and still want a replica of the WCW/WHC belt. I'll get one some day.

As noted late last night here on the website, a brawl broke out over a John Cena t-shirt at the WWE event in Newark, NJ last night. Here's a brief report of the incident from Rob: At the start of the Cena vs. Sheamus cage match, when Cena threw his shirt out in to the crowd, it landed a row a head of me. A fight broke out over it and at least 10 people were thrown out and a few kids were hurt. It got really ugly and punches were thrown. I can't believe adult women, of all people, were starting a fight over something as stupid as a shirt from Cena. This went on for a good 15-20 minutes and it took awhile before Prudential Center staff came down to break it up. I am really surprised that they took a while to get it broken up, but it made me sad that these people mostly women fighting over something like that, not to mention they had no regard that kids were in the middle and were getting hurt during it.

Really? These chicks seem more rowdy than K-kwik was before he got let go way back in the day. And we all know how 'rowdy' he was... FAIL!
