Randy Orton Tweets On This Week's TNA iMPACT!

WWE champion Randy Orton wrote on Twitter that he checked out TNA iMPACT! this week for only the "second time ever" and shared his thoughts on the TNA product.

"Samoa Joe can move. Miss working with (Kurt) Angle and Jeff. Coulda done w/o the JWoW segment tho. I enjoyed the backstage stuff for the most part anyway. Something about the realness of the conversations between some of the talent was really well done."

When a fan seemed surprised that Orton was praising TNA, Orton responded:

"Who said that I do not like TNA? I surely didn't. Never approved of the 8(sic) sided ring tho. Competition is a good thing."

Orton put over TNA TV Champion AJ Styles:

“never met him. Can do some amazing things in the ring. IMO has alot to do with tna’s early success.”

He finished with some comments about Ken Anderson, who was outspoken against Orton following his WWE release:

"The only prob I ever had with Ken was him telling the Internet that I used my 'pull' to get him fired. Not tru, I have no pull."

He's right about AJ, that guy is a huge reason they've lasted so long. Great in the ring. Great face. Great heel. total package.

I agree, AJ's biggest weakness is indeed his mic work.

Not great, but not terrible... Jeff Hardy is terrible... heel or face. lmao

AJ's never been GREAT on the mic, but he does well enough to sell that he's a heel.

I don't think he's horrid or anything (same for Jeff) but talking is clearly their weakness imo.

i'm not convinced, NCD...his accent is what kills it for me when it comes to AJ. Flair should do all the talking.

Jeff Hardy has the same issue...aside from just being lackluster on the mic..he has an accent that kills it.

Michelle McCool had the same issue on SD when she was feuding with Melina...it's those accents lol

Meh, there are plenty more who don't have accents who suck on the mic.

but over time you should be able to overcome it as you speak more and more..

people have said Maryse's is getting better..as she's talking more english.

Michelle's is better...i can barely notice hers.

AJ's and Jeff's...i can still hear it and it just throws their promos off.

I never really listened to Michelle speak until the last year or so bc I'm not a fan.

He's a main-eventer, he has pull by default haha even if he doesn't realize it.

He's being too generous to TNA lol and AJ is a great heel when he DOESN'T TALK. Like NCD said, Hardy sucks either way although I will go further and say he sucks as a talent anyway but whatever, bunch of marks love him anyway.
