| WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross published a new blog on jrsbarbq.com covering topics in the news including the possibility of Bill Goldberg at WrestleMania 27, next year's WWE Hall of Fame class, the build-up for UFC 121 featuring Brock Lesnar, and more.
-- Ross said he could see Goldberg returning to the Georgia Dome in Atlanta at WrestleMania 27 "if all the stars were aligned correctly."
"Bill is still in good shape and certainly in adequate enough shape to go out and have a solid match with the right guy," Ross said. "No, I don't know who the right guy is but I do know that it isn't The Undertaker."
Ross said adding Goldberg to the 2011 Hall of Fame would be a "nice addition," especially if he were wrestling the next day at WrestleMania. Ross also wrote about the lack of names popping up so far less than five months away from WrestleMania weekend.
"While on the subject of the WWE Hall of Fame class for 2011, I haven't heard any hot rumors recently so it would seem as if this year's inductee list is still wide open," Ross said. "I do wish the TV show aspect of the induction ceremony was longer than an hour." | |

| WCW is WWE now, been like that since 2001. Goldberg's a legend in the business because he was huge in the era he was from regardless. He deserves his place. | |

| Goldberg's a piece of shit. Almost anyone could've been given that same gimmick and run away with it as he did. | |

| Difference was nobody else did and when he was around, it was huge and it was WCW's best thing going until Nash pissed on him, which was one of the main things that started causing people to switch over to WWE, letting the heels dominate over the faces. Goldberg might've 'sucked' but he was huge and important in that time period. Nobody can say WCW without saying Goldberg, that's how big he was. | |

| from 1998-2000, Goldberg was THE man. bigger than Hogan, Sting and all the rest until booking got in the way. regardless if hes a piece of shit or not, he deserves to be in the HOF. anyways, even if they DO put him in, he's gonna be recognized as a hall of famer regardless if hes in WWE or not. they still recognize Hogan and Flair as HOFers with out the WWE part | |
