It's gotten well past the point that they need to just quietly drop Nattie as Beth's partner, show her some mercy, and let her work out the rest of her contract on Superstars. Rosa has more credibility than Nattie, now.

(2) Alicia Fox beat Natalya. Natalya comes to the ring with a box of tissue. Fox wins with an inside cradle after the typically short Divas match. Fox grabbed one of Nattie's hair extensions, so she took the mic and said Nattie is so synthetic she's pathetic and she just got out-foxed. Nattie comes in for more, but Fox turns the tables, hits her finisher, and covers Nattie for the pin, even though she already got the pin. Nattie is pissed. Sigh. Why have they turned Nattie into a jobber?

And yeah poor Natalya.

See if they had just gone through with Kaitlyn as part of the DoD it would have been Alicia beating Kaitlyn.

I really wonder why they scraped that storyline.

They're too protective of Kelly to do that. Put Kelly in a feud with AJ, and she loses fan support. There's a reason AJ hasn't been allowed to show what she can do, why she's in her current Jobber to the Jobbers position.

Since when did they want both Kaitlyn and AJ to be heel..?

That would make no sense since it would leave only Alicia as the only face on SD.

Sure she has her BFFs Kelly and Eve but the Raw divas rarely have matches on SD.

(3) Kaitlyn beat Maxine with a roll-up after Bateman came out and distracted her, which was the only highlight of the match that was replayed. Bateman then proceeded to speak the lyrics of "You've Lost that Loving Feeling" crescendoing in song, before he was jumped by Johnny Curtis.

That is the NXT diva match for tomorrow night's show.

(2) Alicia Fox & Kaitlyn beat Natalya & Tamina after Alicia performed her finisher on Natalya. Afterwards, Tamina turned face on Natalya with a super kick and Snuka splash.

NXT Spoilers: January 4th, 2012

Maxine defeated Kaitlyn. Maxine won via submission. Kaitlin was using power moves but then went for a Oklahoma Slam and Maxine slipped into a dragon sleeper body scissors move that looked sweet.

Darren Young defeated Derrick Bateman.Young won when Maxine and Johnny Curtis distracted Bateman. They are getting married two weeks from now in Las Vegas.

*In another vignette, AJ is talking to Alicia Fox as Daniel Bryan walks in. The divas were discussing Bryan's World Title defense against Big Show. Bryan seemed confident and asked AJ why she is friends with Fox.

I just watched this match today at work. For being such a short match, I thought it was very good. I am getting to where I LOVE Maxine in the ring. She is such a unique part of the roster. Her attires are killer and she has improved so much in the ring. And kudos to Kaitlyn as well. She is turning out to be a pretty decent wrestler.

I wish the match got another 2-3 minutes but this is WWE so yeah right..

They did a decent job with the time they got though and I like Maxine's Dragon Sleeper.

That and that double arm hold Voodoo Drop she did once to AJ are great unique finishers.

I want Maxine to get a push on SD.

Yeah, I'm really liking what Maxine is doing in the ring. I just watched a youtube vid of the voodoo drop type thing and it is the exact same set up as Sara Del Rey's Royal Butterfly Suplex.

Yeah it is.

I like that move a lot as well.

Pretty random and the < 1-2 minute 'matches' against Natalya she won didn't really help much.

This Superstar's win she had over Natalya actually meant something imo and I want their feud to continue [mainly on Superstars since they can't give the divas more than 2 minutes on SD it seems... ] but Natalya HAS to win at least one of the damn matches..

Shame they are seemingly forgetting that Alicia beat her in < 2 minutes on Raw but whatever WWE must think people can't fucking remember that...

I know it was already posted however this is a much better description of the match I found from pwtorch:

(1) Divas champion Beth Phoenix beat Nikki Bella (w/Brie Bella) in a non-title match. The match was kind of boring, but had its good spots. Beth finished off the match with a Glam Slam after some confusion between the twins. No Twin Magic in this one.

Smackdown Spoilers January 27th

Aksana def. Natalya under five seconds. Natalya attacks her and Tamina makes the save.

Damn Aksana beat Natalya in 5 SECONDS! WTF WWE!

I am glad she had her first match as an official WWE diva but she should have at least be dominated for a while and then got the upset [if they wanted her to still win her debut match on SD].

Lordsofpain said Natalya locked Aksana in the sharpshooter and Tamina saved Aksana by hitting Natalya with her Samoan Drop and her Superfly Splash.

I am glad Aksana is wrestling I want her to get some more matches however Natalya seems like the only heel on SD who wrestles and she needs another heel to at least have tag matches.

I mean sure Beth should be helping her but it really seems like they are done with the DoD..

* Daniel Bryan came to the ring to cut a heel promo about being a role model and a vegan. Big Show comes out and says he just got finished eating a steak. They talk and Show chokeslams him. Show tried to continue the assault but AJ Lee came out and stopped him.

* Beth Phoenix and Natalya beat Aksana and Tamina.

Natalya is basically a lost cause..

I mean are people really suppose to think she is going to be a challenge to Beth if she never wins any matches?

At least let her beat some people on Superstars every now and then..

I think its a joke that they are going to be building up the most must-see showdown in the divas division in the past 6 years between Beth and Kharma at the biggest stage of them all in only 3 weeks.

What happens after that? Beth defeats Kharma, no one can stand up to her. Kharma beats Beth, same thing. Once the main threat to eachother is eliminated, who is there to have a credible fued with?

If WWE wants to bring back Kharma, where she should be established first, then have her engage in a squash fued with the Bellas leading to a handicap match at a PPV where they are injured so badly they are taken off of television. In the meantime have Nattie squirm her way into a Tamina vs Beth wrestlemania match by making it a three way. Continue the fued till Extreme Rules and then embark on a full-fledged Beth v Nattie fued. Have this last a few months while Kharma continues her freaky stalker storyline after killing the Bellas. Have Beth vs Nattie at one of the four big PPVs, then start a Beth vs Kharma fued. Beth needs and should hold this belt for at least a year before facing Kharma.

If they do Beth/Kharma at WM and build it up say after EC then that would be 6 weeks to build which while short is a LOT longer than most divas matches lately get to build up with..

I am not too sure they will have that though and I could see your Beth v Tamina v Natalya match happen.

As for Beth holding onto the belt for one year I don't see it happening. She should beat Maryse's record Divas title reign however she is not going to get near Trish's 6th Women's title reign imo. That is not because they don't want her to one up Trish it is just that they won't slow play certain things imo.

I would have had this match on Raw and the Kelly/Nikki match on Superstars..

Pretty stupid move imo.

Sure they wanted to have Kelly and Eve's friendship issues further talked about but I think the backstage segment they had was enough to get the point across..

The Divas Champ on tv being dominate is a bigger priority imo than this Kelly/Eve feud but it's wwe so yeah......
