Former WWE Superstar Returns As A Referee

Former World Wrestling Entertainment, Extreme Championship Wrestling and Total Nonstop Action Wrestling superstar Little Guido, otherwise known as Nunzio, worked as a referee at last night’s WWE house show event at Madison Square Garden in New York City, New York.

Former ECW announcer Joey Styles noted via his Twitter that Nunzio was backstage visiting and jumped into the role as Charles Robinson was the only referee who made it to New York during the heavy snowfall.

I heard about this earliar. I find it good that someone like Nunzio is ready and willing to help out when WWE is shortstaffed for whatever reason.

Don't these people have any pride? I'm sorry but I would never hang around any place that I didn't work at anymore. For what? To look at other people work? If I wanted to see former friends it would be at my/their place. But that's just me, I take no pleasure in looking like a loser.

Yeah, exactly. Everybody wants to get that WWE spotlight but only an elite few stick around that Vince likes, everyone else are used up for the time being and spit out.

Since WWE superstars are working 365 days a year they can't exactly have parties at eachothers places, especially considering the travel and stuff. He would know a lot of the people so would make sense to visit them as a whole.

And another question is, Who REALLY TRULY has a "friend" backstage. Most people there are two faced. Trust me. My dad's friend who works there says you really can't trust 96% of the people there.

As being a HUGE Guido fan, I'd say its great he was willing to help out (also lucky that Robinson was there, being an awesome referee). Sticking around really wasn't to get into any spotlight I would say. People have been reported to see him as a nice guy, and if Vince likes him he must have something. Just helping the atmosphere. A good locker room creates amazing matches. If everyone does give it their all, you don't get what you paid for. Bottom line.
