New Plans for a WWE Royal Rumble Surprise, Why Vince Is Against It

WWE creative has had discussions over the past few weeks about signing UFC fighter Roy Nelson to compete at January’s Royal Rumble pay-per-view. If this would happen, Nelson will be a surprise entrant in the Royal Rumble 30-Man Battle Royal.

The main person against the idea is Vince McMahon. Vince is still hopeful that Brock Lesnar will work WrestleMania 27 and feels that if Nelson works Royal Rumble, it would cheapen a possible appearance by Lesnar with two MMA fighters working big WWE angles in just a few months.

McMahon has also expressed concern about not wanting to hurt his good standing with UFC President Dana White.

I don't think many people would care if they had two UFC fighters in the space of a few months as Brock Lesnar will be there as a Former WWE Champion Returning For One Night Only!

That's...pretty fuckin' lame, no lie. Seemed like a past Superstar would make more sense or something more wrestling-oriented.

I want Brock to come back. I loved him. He was awesome.

^I liked him except the careless uber-push he got his first year, running down the company until there was no one left and it drove his character into the ground. That wasn't his fault, though that was Creative's bad.

I want Brock to punish Cena with a deadly F-5.

I think they kinda pushed him too fast too. But damn I loved seeing him destroy the Hardys, Hulk Hogan, and Zach Gowen.

What pissed me off about that was how AFTER seeing him lift Rikishi, and going on to feud with big show, they kept trying to make it seem like it would be impossible for him to lift the big show, I'm like it's pretty damn obvious he'd be able to lift Big Show, He's already lifted Mark Henry and Rikishi.

Oh man, I forgot about Holly, he DID break his neck, then he kicked him in the head. lol
