| Widely considered as one of the most underated performers on World Wrestling Entertainment over the past few years, Montel Vontavious Porter finally decided to amicably depart the company on December 2, 2010.
Where “Mr. 305″ would eventually end up however, was in doubt since his departure.
According to a report from entertainment website TMZ, Montel Vontavious Porter has signed a deal with New Japan Pro Wrestling after he was finally cleared to wrestle in Japan, having being previously barred from Japan because of his 9-year stint in U.S. federal prison.
MVP will debut for New Japan Pro Wrestling at their February 20th event dubbed “The New Beginning” at the Sendai Sun Plaza in Miyagino-ku, Sendai, Japan.
TMZ also note that MVP’s deal with New Japan Pro Wrestling is set to last for up to one year.
