Triple H Named The Most Overrated Wrestler Off All-Time

UGO.com has posted a list counting down the top 25 most overrated wrestlers of all-time. The ranking is topped by 13-time world champion Triple H, who was named Most Overrated in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter awards on three consecutive occasions (2002-2004), and again in 2009.

Regarding the self-proclaimed "King of Kings", UGO.com wrote: "For too long, Triple H has received a free pass from internet wrestling fans, but we say, "No more!" Sure, he used to be great, but that was before he destroyed his body and moved on to destroying the careers of younger wrestlers. Folks these days like to say that "The King of Kings" makes people into stars, but wrestlers tend to either succeed despite the terrible, emasculating beatings he gives them or just disappear back into the midcard. What's worse is that he does it all with the same four boring, mechanical moves - a fact which goes strangely unnoticed by the world's Cena-bashers, who tend to love "The Game." If Triple H was as great as people say he is, the past 13 years of constant pushes shouldn't have just turned him into another Rock or "Stone Cold," it should have gotten him elected King of the Universe.

Why the wrestler might be good in the ring the fans elevate them and hype them beyond what they ever did actually.

Owen Hart was a good wrestler when he dies all a sudden everyone went from disliking him to he is the greatest wrestler of all time.

Even if that's true, Arn Anderson is one of the greatest wrestlers to ever lace up a pair of boots.

The following people shouldn't be on the list since they aren't really hyped as the greatest wrestlers ever among fans and what the hell is Miss Liz doing on the list! She was a manager not a wrestler.

Miss Elizabeth is hyped as the first lady of wrestling yet there was many female wrestlers and stuff in the business before her.

But she's not a wrestler, so she shouldn't be on the list. Plus Miss Elizabeth is rarely hyped up amongst fans or even on shows; she's treated respectfully, but not in an overblown way that would make you think, "Jesus Christ all she did was run and get Hogan when Savage was getting his ass beat, at least Sherri took a blow for her man!" If there was any female wrestler completely hyped up by the WWE, fans, and publications alike; it's Trish Stratus.

Chyna was an over rated wrestler and was carried by men her enture career.

Kong, she has size sure....so did Aloisa, so did Nicole Bass and so did Rossi lotta Love...and in the end they turned out to be complete waste of space or shit.

While Kong has shown that she is a great wrestler, not in my top 10..but definantly on the lower part in the top 20. today.

Fact of the matter is Jazz probably was on steroids just like Chyna was. People always want to say she is a great wrestler when she always seemed very limited in her matches with wwe and never impressed me in ecw. That's like saying Bill Alfonso was a great wrestler because he let Francine beat him down and pour blood all over the ring. The only reason they were signed is because it's a different look then the model type wwe normally signed. They all follow the same storyline they are some big strong monster and eventually get beat by the model type who they been destorying all up until the new person does it. Yet everyone wants to say they are perfect wrestlers and champions because of there size or because they can do this. I have seen people say Kong should be given world title runs and that Chyna was a great IC champion. So if we are gonna have people compare them to wrestlers throughout history I think Jazz is very overated for when people hype her up as a great wrestler compared to the many that have come before her. Point Blank anyone can be overated when a person decides to hype the wrestler to much and isn't as good or accomplish much in there career as the person who is hyping them makes them out to be better then everyone else.
