Names Condsidered for Tough Enough Males

Out of all the names that were in the running for this upcoming season of Tough Enough, there were some independent wrestlers that were considered Austin Aries and Joey Ryan

LMFAO Austin Aries needs to prove himself? This is already beginning to sound like a joke.

So they were supposedly in the running. I guess that means they didn't get it since it didn't say they made it just that they were thought about.

Plus this shouldn't be another NXT.

it seems the concept of Tough Enough has been forgotten by WWE.

this is basically sounding like NXT back on cable tv.

Sounds like it just they don't got contracts mainly to go to FCW and stuff I think like NXT people did.

Yeah. the reason i liked Tough Enough is because it was just average people from off the streets. you watch them grow and develop each week.

kinda defeats the purpose with an indy talent like Austin Aries. He should be on SD competing...not proving himself, like NCD said.

Might be the only way wwe would look at signing them you seen what they done to Kaval.

Yeah i can understand from Aries' standpoint. You do what you gotta do to make it big.

but from WWE's standpoint...WTF? Tough Enough is about seeing if the average Joe is "tough enough" to make it in the wwe.

Wrestlers already know how to bump and sell.

on TE they taught the people how to back bump and run the ropes. Indy wrestlers already know that.

Pick up athletes, Football players, guys who WANT to be wrestlers, Body Builders and build them from scratch. Guys who are currently STILL in wrestling schools....THOSE are the guys they should be looking for, not guys who have main evented ROH at one point...makes those guys look stupid...and makes ROH look like their top talent are just trainee worthy in the WWE and needs to be thought.

Just like the divas....i don't care if they throw in a bunch of models as long as we see them go through rough and tough training to become a wrestler. I seriously wouldn't mind, because it ctually shows they are fighting and proving to us they want to be there......AND they don't need to shake their asses to get noticed

We noted earlier today here on the website that some independent wrestlers that were under consideration for the revival of Tough Enough and didn't make the final cut were Austin Aries, Mercedes Martinez, Joey Ryan, Brittney Savage and JD Maverick.

Another wrestler that was under consideration for the program noted that many of his peers echoed frustration after dealing with casting directors as he and others were led to believe they were going to be tapped for the show, only to never hear back again from them.

Many of the show's contestants have prior wrestling experience. Those names, however, have yet to be publicly disclosed. The only contestant announced thus far is Miss USA 2010 Rima Fakih. Rima is smokin' hot if you've never seen her before. Unreal.

Filming is ongoing and will conclude in late March.

Also, Steve Austin is not living in the house with the contestants.

LMAO!!! Are you serious?? Austin Aries has more talent then 90% of the WWE Roster.

He's just not a gorrila like WWE likes them.....that's all. JD Michales is another guy...like wtf...these guys have almost 10 years of wrestling experience....hell maybe more. JD has been around for a while.

he was, then they gave him that horrible fucking Austin Starr gimmick which caused him to want out cause well...it fucking sucked. Austin Aries doesnt need Tough Enough to prove himself, and hes sure as hell been wrestling longer than "10 weeks to look good"
